ABOUT COMPANY
JSC "SIC "Cascade" – is a dynamically developing research and production

enterprise founded in 1991. It is located in the electrical capital of Russia in Cheboksary and it is a
member of the Association "Innovative Electrical Cluster of Chuvash Republic".
The main activity of the corporation is the development and the production of the unique
technical solutions in the industrial, nuclear and marine versions. A highly qualified team of
designers, technologists and workers creates the innovative products that successfully compete
on the market of electrical products not in Russia only but abroad also.
The time-proved products - rectangular connectors of СП (SP) and СПМ (SPM) Series,
typesetting rectangular connectors with the increased stroke length of SPN1 Series, plug-in
typesetting contacts of КВН (KVN) Series, busbar holders and insulators of various types - earned
the trust of more than 600 manufacturers of equipment for applying in various industries.
Taking into account the needs of manufacturers in electrical components that meet the most
modern requirements, the specialists of JSC "SIC "Cascade" are constantly working on the
creation of the new technical solutions.

The production facilities of JSC «SIC «Cascade» are represented by two production complexes
with the total area of 6,500 m2. The plant is equipped with the high technology processing
equipment which allows to manufacture the high quality products, as well as to fulfill the orders of
the third-party enterprises. The own design, technological centers and tool-making facilities
ensure the execution of all of the processes starting from the development to output of the ready-
made products with the consistent high quality. The possibilities of JSC «SIC «Cascade» are
confirmed by certificates GOST R ISO 9001-2015, GOST RV 0015-002-2012, certificates of type
approval of Russian Marine Register of Navigation, licenses of the Federal service for environmen-
tal, technological and nuclear supervision for the right to design and manufacture the equipment
for nuclear stations, as well as the numerous positive feedbacks from the customers.
The patent-protected products created by the company find wide application in various
industries, including import substitution of the products produced by Harting, ILME, Weidmueller,
Phoenix Contact etc.

ABOUT COMPANY
Thanks to the representative of JSC «SIC «Cascade» in Moscow and time proved partners in
Russia, Kazakhstan, Belarus and other countries, the performance values, quality and reliability of
products are known far beyond the borders of Chuvash Republic and the country. Among the main
customers - the manufacturers of electrical (NKU, KRU etc.) and power equipment, shipbuilding
and machine-tool plants, the enterprises of metallurgical and transport engineering, as well as the
oil and gas and defense industries. In addition, the technical solutions of JSC "SIC "Cascade” are
used in equipment installed at nuclear power facilities, in particular at Beloyarsk, Novovoronezh,
Leningrad, Kalinin and other nuclear power plants.
The corporation is one of the enterprises in Chuvash Republic which implements the innovative
projects.
The Scientific Industrial Corporation was awarded to the title of holder of the prestigious
national prize in the field of import substitution «Priority» for the development of КОВЭ (KOVE) (Kit
for equipment of the sliding elements) in 2016.
In 2017 the corporation became the laureate of the “TechUspekh” national rating and one of the
most successful fast-growing companies in Russia, and in January 2018 the corporation was
included into the list of the large, economically and socially significant organizations of Chuvash
Republic.
Not limited to the scope of its own production, JSC «SIC «Cascade» is actively involved into the
joint research and development together with the Russian enterprises and universities.
In 2018, with the financial support of the enterprise the research laboratory of electrical, radio
and optical measurements was opened at the Department of Radio Engineering and Radio
Engineering Systems of FSBEI of Higher Education «Chuvash State University named after. I.N.
Ulyanov», thanks to which the conditions for practical training of specialists in the field of optical
systems, electrical and radio frequency connectors were created in Chuvashia. By choosing of

INTERFACE CONNECTORS
The new line of modular connectors of SPM Series is designed for high-speed data transmission up
to 10 Gigabits per second and is represented by connectors for various standardized types of interfaces:
USB, RS485, Ethernet.
The important advantage of the modular system is the ability to combine interface connectors or
interface and power connectors in one design. In this case, the male inserts and female inserts of the
connectors are installed on the panel or in the protective housings with the help of special frames. The
degree of protection of the connector in the protective housing is up to IP68.

LONG-STROKE FRAME OF РУ4 (RU4) AND РУ5-М (RU5-M)

SERIES FOR SECONDARY CIRCUIT CONNECTOR
The frame is designed for the use in low-voltage

devices (NKU) with withdrawable modules. It provides the
closed state of secondary circuits at the open state of the
main (power) circuits in the test position of the
withdrawable module.
The design of the frame allows applying it together with
the drive mechanisms having different stroke length.
One of the advantages of the product is the reliable
mutual centering of the contacts of the connectors
installed in it with the possible error in the displacement of
the mates.The frame consists of movable and stationary
parts, on any of which you can install the male or female
inserts.
There are different modifications of frames for fasten-
ing of rectangular connectors of SP Series and modular
connectors of SPM Series with the number of installation
places for modules of male and female inserts from 2 to 6.
It is possible to fix the various special connectors of
SPM Series in the frame:
џ with the digital interface USB, FireWare, Ethernet,
etc. up to 10 GB/s;
џ optical for plastic fiber and fiberglass,
џ other modules with the same mounting dimensions.
According to customer’s requirements we can produce the compact modification of the frame
for the use in the limited space of the withdrawable module or the other size frame for the individual
parameters of the mounting connector (SP, SPM, KVN).
The appropriate frame modifications are provided for the joint application with various connec-
tors of the main circuits (Tables 1, 2)

Gamma-percent operating time to failure Тγ of the connectors at γ = 99 % in the maximal
permissible operating conditions (at the maximal value of icreased ambient temperature during
operation +95ºС and maximal current load), must be at least 15000 hours within the service life
(Тserv) 25 years.
Gamma-percent shelf life of Тсγ of the connectors at γ=97,5% when stored in the manufac-
turer’s packaging in the heated storage, storage with air conditioning in accordance with GOST V
9.003, as well as mounted in the protected equipment or in the protected set of spare parts in all
storage locations, must not be less than 25 years.

CONNECTORS FOR SIMULTANEOUS SWITCHING

OF ELECTRIC CIRCUITS AND FIBERLINES
The new type of hybrid industrial connectors was devel-

oped on the base of rectangular connectors of SP and SPM
Series and created specifically for the use in the increased
resistance conditions to climatic and mechanical impacts.
The universal design of the hybrid connectorsallows
combining the contacts with different characteristics, which
makes it possible to place it in one structural unit of optical
contacts* for connecting of fiber-optic lines and electrical
contacts for connecting of electrical circuits.
Moreover, the optical contacts can be placed in the places
of mounting of electrical contacts, without requiring of any
additional improvements and allowing the use of standard
mounting tools if it is necessary.
The optical contacts provide data transfer when switching
the optical fibers of various types: multimode 50/125 micron glass fibers (GI) and multimode 1 mm polymer
fibers (POF).
The introduced attenuation for glass fiber is not more than 1.5 Db, for polymer fiber is within the limits of
2.5 Db.
Through the use of the special mounting frames, the connectors can be mounted both on the panel of the
low-voltage devices (NKU) and in prefabricated modules. Metal housings with mounting dimensions 44x27
mm, 57x27 mm or 77,5x27 mm provide the degree of protection up to IP 65 according to GOST 14254.

1. Pressure casting of non-ferrous metal

Casting is carried out on machines with a cold pressing chamber with a locking force of 300 t,
pressing force up to 340 kN and pressing speed of 9 m/s.
The area of the castings is up to 700 cm2.
Weight of castings is up to 3 kg.
Minimum wall thickness is up to 0.5 mm.
The preliminary or final machining of castings followed by powder coated is also possible.
Characteristics of the resulting casting:
ь clean untreated surface;
ь high accuracy of the product, including the configuration of increased complexity.
2. Pressure casting of thermoplastic materials

Injection molding of parts from thermoplastic materials is up to 125 cubic centimeters
(polyamide, polyethylene, etc.) from simple to complex, from small batches to serial
production, using both your molds and the molds made at our factory.
3. Manufacturing of parts from thermoset materials
