ABSTRACT

The aim of this research work is to examine impact of job satisfaction on

organizational performance in Unilever Plc. Also to examined the effects of
job satisfaction and organizational performance under the present
dispensation. In order to meet the stated objectives of this work data were
collected through questionnaire distributed to the staff of Unilever Nigeria
Plc as well as through personal interview. However, it was observed that
labour is a unique factor of production, which should be effectively
managed. Hence the findings shows that job satisfaction significantly
increase organizations productivity and the high rate of labour turnover
reduced productivity of workers. The study therefore, recommends that
efforts should be made to enhance workers career through training and
educations, pay packages should be attractive enough to give staff
confidence in the company so as to put in their best. Thus mismanagement
