the end of the newsletter.
I will also mail (USPS) a
print calendar to you in
late July or the beginning
of August. I know that
some of you like to put it
on your bulletin board or
refrigerator.
Please note that
our October meeting is a
new concept for us. Eve-
ryone seemed to enjoy
our meeting of sharing
books and movies that we
read or watched during
our confinement. Jackie
thought that it would be
fun to read one of the
selections and have a dis-
cussion. So, she chose
The Giver of Stars by
JoJo Moyes. The Dayton
Metro Library has many
copies so you don’t have
to buy the book. And
this meeting will be at
Geez Grille and Pub in
Washington Square Shop-
ping Center where Doro-
thy Lane Market is in
Centerville. We will order
from the menu and there
will be individual checks.

Sue reported on the convention. It was attended virtu-
ally. Other members had attended some of the Zoom
sessions and found it worthwhile.

RESPECTING THE DELTA KAPPA GAMMA PINS

The Delta Kappa Gamma Key Pin has a wreath of laurel symbolizing the distinction which those who wear this
pin have achieved, and a cup which represents knowledge. Out of respect, we proudly wear the pin over our
hearts to meetings and conferences. Likewise, the Chapter President Pin honors the service and dedication of
the member. Upon the resignation or death of a member, returning either pin to the chapter guarantees it will be
treated with dignity when no longer in use. The forms below may be filled out to make family aware of a mem-
ber's wishes about the disposal of her Delta Kappa Gamma pins.
