1. ORGANIZATION OF THE ACCEPTANCE TEST SESSION

1.1 AIMS

The document to be validated is the system considered from the functional point of
view in conformance with the Standard General Technical Specifications.
The aim of the session is to verify:
- The functional aspects
- The system management aspects
• System start-up/shutdown,
• Maintenance tools
• Redundancy management,
• Gateway functions (IEC60870.5-101/104)

1.2 PROCEDURE

At the start of the session, AHC hands over the pre-acceptance document to the
customer. This document is identical to the Acceptance Test Book and demonstrates
that AHC has already run all the tests. The customer then indicates which of the tests
in the book he wishes to verify.
The different Acceptance Forms are passed in the order defined in the Acceptance
Test Book.
As the tests proceed the forms are completed with the following information:

• initial conditions,
• results observed,
• result of the step: accepted, refused, accepted with reservation,
• any remarks.
For each step or sub-step, the full series of results is entered on an Acceptance Test
Report Form. Any anomalies are entered on an Anomaly Report (RA) and indexed on
the Acceptance Test Report Form.

Completing an Anomaly Report (RA)

When an error is observed, it is necessary first to check whether the anomaly is due to
an incorrect action or to the test procedure itself. In which case, the procedure is re-
executed after rectification.
If the anomaly is clearly identified as such, the possible solutions to the problem must
first be envisaged before the authorized representatives appraise the level of seriousness
of the error:
- Reservations associated to application data may be corrected during the session,
- Reservations associated to the ALSPA HMI software version (Kernel and
CIS functions) must be corrected in the next version. These
reservations must be verified at provisional acceptance at the latest.
In this Anomaly Report document (see remark page) the serious level shall
be precise according to the following criteria:
- blocking problem which blocking exploitation of control system (example: system shutdown),
- major error on not critical function (example: unsatisfactory operation),
-minor anomaly not prevent a function of ALSPA CONTROPLANT DCS (example: documentation)
Closing the session
The Acceptance Test Session is completed by a report written by the session manager.
The report is written up from the Report Forms.

Initial conditions

The control blocks utilised in this section are those used to test the Command
and Set point transmission control functions.

A Command or Set point can only be transmitted by a control block if

- the control block authorisation variables are in the (authorized) state,

- the Command or Set point which is to be modified is authorized. This

presumes two conditions

- The verification cBSig or cASig (controller check) is acquired valid or is replaced.

- The authorisation cBSig of the command is valid or replaced and
authorized

Important : Proceed by replacement to ensure that the authorisation

conditions are met in order to transmit commands.
