1. Complan, database.

IEC materials on hygiene practices

The school has developed a communication plan.

1. Identification of platform of communication for coordination purposes among the learners,


parents/guardians, and teachers.

2. Database of contact details including contact number and address of parents/guardians of the learners are
kept to inform them in case their child shows flu-like symptoms while in school premises.

3. Development of child-friendly Information, Education and Communication (IEC) materials on hygiene


practices and respiratory etiquette including hand hygiene (hand disinfection thru handwashing and/or use of
70% isopropyl alcohol), respiratory hygiene and cough etiquette (coughing or sneezing into tissues or one’s
elbow), protective measures (proper use of face shield and face mask, physical distancing), among others,
that are posted in common areas and are available in local languages and braille.
2. Orientation with PTA/LGU/ Stakeholders conducted.

Orientation meeting with PTA officials about the incoming Limited Face to Face Classes.
3. Hotline/ helpdesk that coordinates to the hospital, testing facilities, LGUs
COMPLAN, DATA BASE, IEC ON HYGIENE PRACTICES

1. The school or clinic teacher shall ensure that the school has an established and open
communication line to BHERT/RHU and the availability of necessary contact information.

2. The school head or the clinic teacher shall ensure and established an open communication
line with the DepED District Nurse for proper coordination and reporting to the SDO.

3. IEC on hygiene practices shall be posted in conspicuous places.


I. SIMPLIFIED CONTIGENCY PLAN AND COMMUNICATION FLOW WHEN COVID 19 SYMPTOMS
OCCUR

Scenario 1 (Upon Entrance)

If the child shows symptoms like cough, fever, stomachache & runny nose, the parent must be advised to bring
their children home for observation and if symptoms persist, they need to see a physician.

Scenario 2 (During Class Hours)

If the symptoms occur during class hours, the teacher will notify the School Head, and will bring the child to
the isolation room. She will also contact the parents. The School Head will notify the School Safety Officer and the Clinic
Teacher to bring the chils to the isolation room. The School Head will also notify the BHERTS if necessary.
