Concept Notes: Textula is another literary form that is rooted from our very own
Tanaga. It follows a specific structure of four (4) lines with seven (7) syllables each line.
Instructions: Given the elements that make up a Tanaga, look at the following poems
and see if they may qualify for a Tanaga. Check the box for each poem that qualifies.

Despite its conciseness, this literary form may still be used to communicate messages.
Instructions: Identify the rhyme scheme of each Textula. Write your answers on the
blank provided after each Textula and comprehensively answer the questions that
follow.
Pulitiko
(A) Ay! Walang kapagurang
Pagngasab at pagdaldal
Textula ni Atilla Roma Labis pang tumatakaw
Ang baboy sa labangan
Textula (A) is entitled Pulitiko but the fourth line talked about a pig in the trough
(baboy sa labangan). What could this mean?
