CLE Day: “Mary: The Epitome of Christian Spirituality”

ROLE: Working in groups as students in a Catholic University


AUDIENCE: Grade 11 Senior High School students
SITUATION: A webinar will be conducted to the HAU Grade 11 Senior High School students
with the theme: Mary: The Epitome of Christian Spirituality.
PRODUCT: Reflection Paper
STANDARDS: Originality, Relevance, Persuasiveness and Creativity

A webinar will be conducted to the HAU Grade 11 Senior High School students with the theme:
“Mary: The Epitome of Christian Spirituality”. This activity aimed to honor the Blessed
Virgin Mary in gratitude for the protection that she gives the Church and inspires a God-loving
Marian character by praying the Rosary. The Grade 11 Senior High School students are tasked to
draw a symbolism that best represent Mary as mother of Jesus Christ. Reflection paper will also
be given to the students that answers the following questions:
a. Describe your relationship with Mary, and how it has changed over time.
b. Identify your favorite Marian spiritual practice/s and elaborate why you like it/them.
c. Has Mary played a vital role in your ongoing vocational discernment? Expound your
answer.
For Non-Catholics
a. Identify two (2) characteristics of Mother Mary and explain how she manifested or
showed these them.
b. Which among the characters of Mary you have identified would you like to have and
why?
c. How will you apply in your life as an Angelite student and as a member of your family
this character that you have chosen?
