I. Project Title
“PNHS DRINKING FOUNDATION”

II. Description of the Project

The project is for the students of Potrero National High School in which
they will get to have an access to clean water inside the school vicinity. As
we all know, the students came from minimum wage and below minimum
wage family and having a drinking fountain would less their expenses for
they will not buy their own water. In addition, the drinking fountain would
also teach the Potrero National High School to practice proper hygiene that
could help them to have a healthy body especially during hot weather.

III. Rationale
The Department of Education stated that Students should be constantly
nurture and should have enabling and supportive environment for
effective learning to happen.

Under the Department Order 28 series of 2018 states that the “Oplan
Kalusugan” encompasses School-Based Feeding Program; National Drug
Education Program; Adolescent Reproductive Health Education; Water,
Sanitation, and Hygiene in Schools Program; at medical, nursing, and
dental services. The school have the responsibility to nurture the learner’s
health for it would help them to perform and think well inside the school.

IV. Expected Outcome

That each of the learners would learn the proper hygiene through the
drinking fountain and accessibility of water for all.

V. Project Objectives:
• To provide accessible drinking water among the learners of Potrero
National High School
• To develop proper hygiene among the learners of Potrero National High
School.
 VI. Measurable Outcome
The students will provide a feedback in the freedom wall located in the
school lobby, created by the Supreme Student Government about the
activity to share their thoughts about the project.
