Swagger and Confluence documentation.
• Won CTO sponsored innovation competition – improve and predict, based on smartglass consumed
learned experiences, labratory quality assurance and information capture.

CGI INC., Cranford, NJ April – July 2019

CELGENE CORPORATION, Summit, NJ
In state-of-the-art cellular immunotherapy manufacturing center, launch LIMS system to track specimens and
workflows for chimeric antigen receptor (CAR T) therapy being developed for certain multiple myeloma pa-
tients. Evaluate business needs and translate into formal, documented requirements to ensure the business
demands are fulfilled.

HCL AMERICA, INC., Parsippany, NJ 2018

MERCK & CO INC., Rahway, NJ
Technical lead in the development of laboratory systems to support scientific workflows, data analysis and
modeling. Primary focus on deploying Biovia Pipeline Pilot and Titian Mosaic using cybersecurity best prac-
tices.

ALPHA CONSULTING, East Brunswick, NJ 2014–2018

Bristol-Myers Squibb Senior Business Analyst, Compound Management
Collaborate with project and technical leads and multiple department stakeholders in R&D to define and de-
liver LevTech 3 Inventory Management Project. Refine and expand existing high-level requirements, use
cases, and process flows, and provide input to UAT and change management of deployment.
• Partner with Informatics teams, stakeholder scientific groups, and subject matter experts to refine project
plan, including validation of formal business and solution requirements. Speed delivery of alpha, beta,
and final versions of application to automate the request and tracking of samples as they enter and com-
plete an assay process.
• Generate cohesive documentation of business processes/maps, requirements, GUI proposals and wire
frame mockups, and functional and technical specifications. Accelerated the writing of 180+ test scripts
and controlled the execution of 500 test runs.
• Articulate and communicate requirements to development team.
• Worked with 40 stakeholders of 11 constituent departments to promote strategic solution that effectively
manages $12MM worth of reagents, the fundamental building blocks and catalysts of small molecule
research.

• Supported new sample ordering workflows for all small-molecules, in parallel with ordering of all other
material (biologics), within common, standard platform. Streamlining of work exceeded expectations.
• Enabled demand management capability which provides study operators ability to balance research
resources against requests and be aware of time sensitive results and deliverables.

MERCK & CO INC., Rahway, NJ 1990–2013

Senior Specialist Discovery Pre-Clinical Sciences, Merck Research Labs (2011–2013)
Standardized / modernized management of compounds (Titian Mosaic) across Rahway and Summit reposi-
tories, and four satellite compound submission labs.
• Advanced compound management efficiency, ensured integrity of compound collection, and improved
overall cycle time for discovery projects. Composed Pipeline Pilot scripts to cleanse and convert
instrument data and chemical structures for downstream analysis.
• Spurred Merck to Google Explorer standing in order to kick start Glass (wearable computing device) as
a laboratory proof of concept.
• Organized Windows 7 migration for 150+ scientists, encompassing over 50 applications unknown to IT.

Team Leader Exploratory and Translational Sciences, Merck Research Labs (2008–2011)
Led specialized application of information technology to optimize and extend laboratory operations, including
GxP accountability, at Merck's largest Basic Research site.
• Formulated business case and requirements for world-wide, basic research LIMS. Guided eight research
sites through evaluation of eight vendor proposals to select one solution.
• Regulated capture, display, and analysis of phenotyping data from genetically engineered mouse models.
Architected data transfer, collection and reporting platform for Non-Human Primate (NHP) colonies
located in Far East.
• Led three innovation experiments:
o Simplified use of automation technologies 'at the bench‘ with 3G mobile devices
o Uncovered new relationships from existing documents, i.e., 'find what we don't know'
o Redirected technicians to higher value work by eliminating low value image segmentation.

Application Services Lead (1999–2007)

Partnered with MRL scientists to invent powerful ways to analyze gene expression, in-vitro, in-vivo, and drug
metabolism data; promote operational efficiency, and speed drug discovery efforts. Accelerated storing, ag-
gregating, and visualization of results. Increased access to molecular profiling, biological and chemical infor-
mation to optimize discovery, insight and action
• Supplied day-to-day customer service for 10-15 basic research projects, 450 biologists and chemists,
and their associated life science applications. Unified, shared and fully reutilized scientific data generated
from vast array of laboratory data sources - instrumental and business software.
• Produced Spotfire scripted workflow to assemble gene expression and functional annotation data from
different micro arrays and species, taking advantage of one-to-many and many-to-many homology
relationships between species.
• Realized benefits of on-demand, integrated information platform that replaced ISIS Base browser.
• Collaborated with seven world-wide research sites to define process to assess early guidance in drug
compound optimization and pharmacological profiling. Solicited/compared eight “discovery informatic”
vendor proposals. Global acceptance achieved on processing of raw assay data. Delivered training and
installation of application to 30+ assays at initial site. Four hundred Application enhancements were
identified, documented and prioritized by global review board.
• Created significant Java middle-ware components to search sample registrations, molecular structures,
chemical attributes, and screening plates. Built query by example functionality for decision support tool.
• Led migration of 11 basic research projects, consisting of 206 assays, from legacy database to Merck’s
comprehensive scientific database schema. Required learning numerous attributes that define and
quantify biological experiments and training hundreds of scientists.
