Role Clarity: Content Developer & Trainer - Verbal Ability


Verbal Ability – Content Developer & Trainer is the one who is responsible for
Role Definition conducting thorough research on company expectations in the area of Verbal
Ability, developing & delivering new content. Also proofreading/ Validating
content before publishing.

As a Verbal trainer he/she will be responsible to conduct effective training


session using new training methodologies.

Content Development
1. Ability to research, structure, develop and deliver relevant quality content in
the areas of Verbal Ability & Soft Skills.
2. Determine the competencies that are required to master each element of the
curriculum
3. Create the curriculum for module
4. Conducting in-depth research on industry-related verbal topics in order to
develop original content
5. Development of quality content and delivery for verbal section of Pre-
placement requirements.
6. Developing company specific model question papers. Course design -
research exam patterns, syllabus & creating similar question papers.
7. Development of quality content and delivery for Verbal ability section of
Competitive exams like SSC, Railways, Banking and Defense etc.
8. To develop quality content and delivery for the verbal ability of
CAT/GMAT/GRE/Regional MBA entrances.
9. Top create puzzles/mind benders
10. Develop content based on Current Affairs and GK
11. Create modules for slow learners, medicores & performers.
12. Building simple but discerning questions to check whether the participant
has really understood
13. Commenting and finalizing questions made by stake holders to enhance the
quality of questions.
14. Making standardized test papers for different projects.
15. Responsible to create questions with solutions & thought process of
different given topics.
16. Proofread/validate content for errors and inconsistencies.
17. Develop videos based on exam pattern, syllabus, tips and tricks
18. Record video lectures/lessons catering to different companies’ selection
processes and multiple competitive bank exams.
19. Build the video solutions for all the tests administered on the platform.
20. Content creation for official YouTube channel
21. Developing content for contests, blogs, booklets and social media.
22. Curate content, editing and improving questions/solutions.
23. Create content for various marketing collaterals/channels like eBook,
infographic, videos, Quora etc.
24. Create assessments to evaluate learning outcomes

Training & Development


1. Teach verbal ability to students preparing for Placements and Competitive
exams.
2. Train participants on Soft skills & communication skills
3. Able to train participants on voice & accent.
4. Should be able to create solutions & explanations to questions available
and clear student doubts over email.
5. Manage the online doubt clearing sessions for the users.
6. Train Content Developers (both in-house and freelancers) to make them
deliver better content. Review content and questions created by other
content developers.

Learning & Assessment Platform


1. Identifying customer’s needs and recommending new content to address
gaps in the company's current content.
2. Design the overall curriculum structure for learning platform
3. Conducting Train the Trainer sessions (both in-house and freelancers)
ensuring
4. Giving portal platform demo
5. Conducting competitors research
6. Work closely with S/W development team to develop ideas and concepts
for each competency
7. Test each module once it has been created to make sure that it meets
desired curricular standards
8. Conduct usability testing sessions with students
9. Analyzing large-scale student response data to figure out how students
think and learn.
10. Designing, conducting & evaluating the assessment process
11. Spending considerable time on the field by setting standard processes,
doing training, invigilating and helping out with field audit and other
relevant implements.
12. Generate idea for game based learning platform
13. Contribute to recruiting new talent, as per the organisation’s needs
14. C-ordinating with technical content development team
15. Basic video editing skills (preferred but not compulsory)
16. Online Video Experience (preferred but not compulsory)
17. Proofread digital marketing content
