Identification - something in common

Theory of Identification - develop strategies in identification and division

Types

1. Material Identification - what material or thing is common

- ex: Credit Card Agent and Condo Sellers with high end phones to identify their

common materials their target market has

- Hydroflasks

2. Idealistic identification - finding common value or belief or ideals to persuade people, the

person has the same concept with you

- ex: Pathos - Isko Moreno and poverty, Vico and Prisoners

3. Formal Identification - similar organization or affiliation

a. ex: Isko and Iskas

- Formal clubs like fraternities, masons, and rotary clubs to further something

because of common substance (also idealistic because belief in same thing

when joining the group)


Strategies

1. Strategy of Naming - using nouns or pronouns that use the essence if WE and we share

the same things and sound more inclusive

- ex: our shared vision, our fight for human rights

2. Strategies of Form - using Logos, logic, arguments, syllogism to establish identification

- Using Iskolar ng Bayan as logic to say that you will be automatically for pro-

bayan

3. Strategies of Spiritualization - use God or divine intervention, 

- God Bless America

- Manny Pacquiao and lifting Bible Verses and addressing us as Anak ng Diyos

because we want to consider ourselves as Anak ng Diyos
