Topic Choice 2: Analysis of the Job Satisfaction of Teachers Working in Engineering Colleges

Abstract

1. Being a teacher requires a variety of abilities, viewpoints, attitudes, knowledge, and

sensibilities. It is a noble and extraordinarily complex activity. In addition to the
resources that are readily available, an organization's effectiveness depends on its
quality and competency as needed.
2. The job security, wages, hours worked and the scope of one's tasks, type of
supervision, etc. are among the factors under management's control. All of these
qualities have a significant impact on the teachers, and their presence in the
workplace inspires and satisfies them in their work.
3. Teachers must therefore be specialists in more than just their fields. Attitude,
philosophy, values, beliefs, hobbies, and job happiness are all indicators of a
teacher's development.

Methods

1. Primarily, the researcher relied on primary and secondary data to gather information.
Through the use of a pre-designed questionnaire, primary data would be gathered
from the teachers working in the MBA colleges in the Guntur District.

2. Secondary data will be gathered from official records kept by the municipal planning
office, HRD index, daily newspapers, periodicals, university libraries, and
magazines, among other sources.

Sampling

1. The stratified random sampling technique will be used in the research to choose the
sample. Men’s colleges and coeducational colleges will be studied in the initial round
of data collection. Data from PG colleges are also collected in a similar manner in
the second stage.

2. Again, 10 colleges will be chosen from each division of management studies in all
three revenue divisions of Hyderabad District, or Hyderabad revenue division, by
looking at 10 teachers in each college. There will therefore be 100 respondents in the
final sample.

Statistical Tool
The analysis will be done using the questionnaire through google forms.
Correlation, Variance, and test will be used wherever necessary.

Aim

1. The future of our country depends primarily on a group of professionals called

college teachers. It's therefore surprising to learn that many college teachers still don't
like their employment today.

2. College professors who are happy in their jobs benefit not only from it but also
from society as a whole. It raises output and academic achievement at the college.
Any society's prosperity depends on the function that teachers perform.

3. In all the critical phases of a student's academic career, teachers serve as a source of
advice. Teachers who are happy with their jobs are better able to focus and give their
all to their tasks. One of the most valuable resources in every community is its
students.

Conclusion and Recommendations

Conclusion of the project on the potential analysis of teachers' job satisfaction in

engineering institutions. It may differ depending on the person, the environment, the job,
and the institution. The degree to which college teachers are content with their careers is
generally influenced by factors including pay, working conditions, job security, desired
position, compatibility of the role with academic qualifications, time off, and other
advantages.
