MAINTENANCE AND ROUTINE CARRIED OUT ON VARIOUS MACHINERIES

. Recognising the objective of safety first and keeping in mind the safety standards
set by company ,have always given priority to safe working practices and proper
protection equipment at all the times.

. Carried out the flashing up of water tube boiler from cold condition, routines
and maintenance on main and pilot burner, combustion chamber cleaning and
maintenance, chemical dosing, keeping the record of boiler water tests.

. Preparing the boiler for various surveys.

.Carried out all PMS(planned maintenance system)on main engine , generator as

recommended by manufacturer, all fuel injector, fuel pump, cylinder head, piston,
linear (as per their running hours), setting of theTappet clearance of intake and
exhust valves.

. Routinely overhauling the jacket cooling pump.

. Carried out bowl cleaning and other routines on fuel oil and lube oil purifier at
regular interval

.Carried out complete overhauling of horizontal and vertical centrifugal pumps

and positive displacement pumps.

. Carried out complete overhaul and maintenance on main air compressor

.well equipped to carry out routine and maintenance on air conditioning and
refrigerator plant.

. Well equipped to handle operations and maintenance of hydraulic machineries.

.carrying out maintenance on inert gas generator, fresh water generator, LT

Cooler, HT Cooler, .

.Controlling and Observing the temperature, pressure and other parameter of

main engine and other auxiliary machinery during maneuvering period of the
vessel.

. Assist electrical officer in maintenance of various electrical equipments such as

ACB, motor maintenance ,bearing replacement , megger test.

. Maintaining inventory management of all the spare parts and the chemicals and
lube oil .

. Operating the INCINERATOR and the SEWAGE TREATMENT PLANT as per the
INTERNATIONAL REGULATION.

.Changing over the main engine ,generator and boiler from heavy fuel oil to low
sulphur diesel oil in order to comply with the international regulation pertaining
to MARPOL.

. Carrying out general routines maintenance and trouble shooting of all main and
auxiliary machineries as required.
