Yoshihisa Kimura
Born in Tokyo in 1959, Yoshihisa was in 5th grade when he was inspired by reading Kunihiko
Kasahara’s Origami Suizokukann (Origami Aquarium ) and started folding origami. He began
creating his own origami as a teenager, and continues to design origami models more than
40 years later. He is a member of the Japanese Origami Academic Society.
