THE LITTLE BEE

You will need:

- Any cotton yarn you like: Yellow, Black, Light Blue, White,Pink. I used:
+ Lamia pastel cotton : Yellow 061, Black 006 ( for head, body, arms)
+ Susan’s Family or Jeans: Light Blue 75 (wings), Black 54 (antennaes)
+ Gazzal Baby cotton : Pink 3444 ( cheeks), White (collar)
- Hook:
+ 3 mm: Head, Body, Arms, Wings
+ 2,5mm : Antennaes
+ 2mm: Cheeks, Collar.
- 1 pair of 8mm black safety eyes
- Polyester fiberfill, stitch markers, scissors, tapestry needles

Abbreviations:
- MR : Magic Ring
- Ch : Chain
- St : Stitch/stitches
- Sc : Single crochet
- Dc: double crochet
- Inc: Single crochet increase
- V-dc: Double crochet increase
- Dec : Single crochet decrease
- Slst: slip stitch
- x : repeat x times

- Work in a continuous spiral, without joining round, unless instructed
otherwise in the pattern.

G. Collar:

White yarn (2mm): Leave 7cm -10cm yarn before making chain
1. Ch 36,starting on third chain from hook, 34V-dc (68)
2. Ch2, skip first st, (ch2, 1slst) reapeat to the end.
Fasten off, leave 7-10cm tail to tie on her neck.

Assembly:
- Antennae : Position and sew antennaes on head ( between round 4-5).
- Cheeks: Place the cheeks, under the eyes, using pin and sew.
- Embroider the mouth and eyebrows.
- Head: Sew the head to Body, stuffing firmly before closing.
- Arms: Position the arms on either side of the body (1 round below the
neck). Using long tails and yarn needle, sew them in place.
- Wings: Choose a palce for the wings on the back, using pin and sew.
- Collar: Wrap around neck and tie in front.
