Greetings of Peace and Love of the Lord!

World Blood Donor Day is an annual event to thank voluntary blood donors, acknowledge and
encourage blood donation and new donors, especially by representing how blood donations
have saved and changed lives. This year has the slogan “Donating blood is an act of solidarity.
Join the effort and save lives”, referring to the caring and cohesion that giving blood and caring
for others involves.

Blood donation saves millions of lives annually and helps with the recovery and health of
patients who have illnesses or injuries, complex operations, or childbirth problems. To ensure
that everyone who needs transfusion has access to safe blood, we need voluntary, unpaid
blood donors who give blood regularly.

Concerning this, may we request your good office to allow your personnel to participate in the
said activity as BLOOD DONORS on July 28, 2022, from eight (8) in the morning up to three
(3)in the afternoon?

Your involvement, together with your organization and support will help to ensure a greater
impact on this activity, increasing recognition that giving blood is a life-saving act of solidarity
and that services providing safe blood and blood products is an essential element of every
health care system.
