Blood donation is a service to humankind. By donating blood, you help someone in need, and it
can very well save a precious life.

In line with this, The Reservists of Apayao, under the 1405th COMMUNITY DEFENSE
CENTER, 14th REGIONAL COMMUNITY DEFENSE GROUP, RESERVE COMMAND,
PHILIPPINE ARMY, are mandated to be at the frontline in serving the society, what better way
to contribute to this is through an advocacy program: The Apayao Reservists’ 1st ever
Bloodletting Program with the theme “Dugong Laang Kawal, Dugtong-buhay sa
Mamamayan ng Apayao” . This activity aims to contribute to the growing demand of blood for
the Far North Luzon General Hospital and Training Center (FNLGHTC), a government hospital
that serves patients from the Province of Apayao and Cagayan.

The Reservists of Apayao are writing to your institution to request for volunteer blood donors
from your troops. Your participation in this event will help ensure that Far North Luzon General
hospital will have ample supply available to yApayaos in the immediate and near future. Said
bloodletting activity will be held on March 16, 2022, Wednesday at Brgy. Quirino Gym, Luna,
Apayao from 8AM onwards.

We have ensured that the health and safety protocols are being followed during the conduct of
the aforesaid activity. Attending doctors and medical personnel will be at the site to ensure
overall wellness of the donors and volunteers. Medical staff will screen all participants prior to
entry to the venue. We look forward to your positive response on this request. Thank you very
