What I have learned to this subject is about Accommodation operations,

this would really helped us to give more comprehension about the world of
tourism and hospitality were created to ensure that restaurants, hotels, airline,
and other public accommodations are providing safety measures within their
establishments to ensure the well-being of their clients. We could apply our
learnings to our future job.
The things that I have done that has made me better from the subject was
knowing more how really important having and applying a good accommodation.
In the company, we should interact with customers through the provision of
goods and services. However, customers do expect that hotels are safe places to
stay and hotel companies need to ensure that they have appropriate security
measures, not only to safeguard their guests but also their employees and the
property. The tourism and hospitality industry represents a broad range of
undertakings including accommodations and operations. That’s why it required
not only to understand the day to day operation but the development of
accommodation that has normally accompanied of their growth. Like the tourist,
accommodation assumes many forms, and not all of them fit the conventional
image of the hotel. It is also examined and the impact of globalization and the
operational issues that affect the accommodation sector.
It improves me a lot knowing the essence of this subject because someday
this could help myself like imagining what it can be like in my future. It helps to
ensure both customers and industry operators come within a fair and equitable
environment. It is also very important for industry operators to have the
knowledge of it so that they can prevent unpleasant service to their customers
being initiated in their establishment company.
 To be honest I have learned a lot of things about the subject
Accommodation and Operations Management. Actually I could used this, it brings
a huge impact especially in my future, it was very useful. Accommodations sector
considered a major part of the global tourism industry in terms of revenue and
employment. We all know that the industry is now more highly segmented in
terms of the variety of accommodations and the types of market served. As the
needs and tastes of the visitor industry in terms of business and social activities
have changed, the accommodation sector has adjusted in terms of the style of
hotels, type of hotel rooms, and the products and services they provided.
Not all that, based on my report about Marketing is defined as “knowing
what the customer wants” It means the tourists needs and most importantly
delivering what is promised. It’s not just to have the right customer, the right
location, the right package and the right price. So, there are several aspects to the
operation of a tourist accommodation. First is Food and beverages in which to
feature of any hospitality industry product. There’s a lot of things here. I can’t
remember some of the topic to be discussed it’s because of internet connection
problem, I couldn’t really hear it during the zoom classes. Another one is
Housekeeping. This department is responsible for cleaning and maintaining the
hotel premises, which include public area, guest rooms, lobby, swimming pool
area and etc. The functions of housekeeping includes the linen management and
laundry services.
Also, I learned the Front Office procedure because sometimes we really
encounter a problem when it comes to booking at least we are familiar of that.
We already know how to handle it. Indeed, hospitality is considered to be the
core of tourism where there is an involvement of the consumption of food, drink
along with homely accommodation. Now a days, hospitality has become a
commercialized experience, where the guest pays for the services or goods they
consumed.
 Good day to you Sir, first and foremost I would like say thank you for your
hard work in supporting us as we develop even if we are running out of time it’s
because supposedly this is a block 3 subject but there is something wrong with
regards to this circumstances. Your patience and commitment to enlighten us
always to be strong and fight for our dreams. You always remind us to make our
parents proud, and that was very nice and great.
I have noticed that your given activities has been easy for us because that
was a collaborative output in which we could make it better because I believe that
two heads are better than one. You have always considered our situation and try
to understand it even in our unstable internet connection. We want the work to
be challenging as a team but achievable. Your guidance has developed us into
capable students. Thank you for being such an important part of our
development. Your expertise in teaching has put our minds at ease. I am so
grateful to have you as one of my subject teacher.
Again sir, thank you for helping me to develop the skills and confidence that
I would carry forward into the next chapter of my journey. Thank you for going
above and beyond for us. Your effort and love are always highly appreciated.
