Dear Mrs. Fandrian:

I saw information on social media, more precisely on PT PP's Instagram account. There is a large
dam project to be built in Penajam Paser Utara named the Khatulistiwa Dam. The project opened
many job vacancies and required many graduates of civil engineering, especially structural
engineering.

I am currently working as a supervisor in a private company in Bandung. I am an expert in

structural engineering. Incidentally, the final project I took to graduate from an applied degree in
civil engineering from Gadjah Mada University was about problems with the dam structure. I am
also an expert in operating BIM software for structural analysis needs. Usually I use Tekla
Structures and Revit for structural analysis purposes. I have attended several BIM software
trainings held by several professional institutions and companies in the BIM field such as Glodon
and Archilantis. I managed to get a fairly high score in the BIM software training that I attended.
In my opinion, the use of BIM for construction purposes is very helpful and makes it very easy
for implementers in the field to work more effectively. Cooperation between stakeholders is also
well established and structured. It makes the project complete faster than when not using BIM.
The use of BIM is also very helpful to see the details of work per day, also to estimate
construction costs, very detailed prices are obtained. This is very helpful for the estimator to
prepare a project cost budget plan so that it can reduce prices and there will be no swelling of
material prices.

Until now I am still learning more about other BIM software. I hope to master BIM software as
much as I can. I hope to find other problems in the field of structure that can be solved with the
help of BIM software. I wish I could take part in this project. Let me implement my experience
so far handling various projects with BIM in this Khatulistiwa Dam project. I am sure that my
acceptance for this project will leave a good impression that PT PP will not forget. People with
good flight hours when balanced with good competence according to their field of expertise, will
increase project effectiveness significantly. This will greatly benefit the various parties involved
