SELF-ASSESSMENT OF COMPETENCIES ON MODULE 2

Transitioning to the Age of the New Normal: Rethinking Teaching and Learning

The following are statements for self-assessment of knowledge, skills and values related to the teachers’ new roles,
skills, and competencies in the 21st century education, and the integration of Islamic values of leadership and moral
governance in distance learning.

Please rate yourself as honestly as possible using the scale and description of competency level in attached form. Rest
assured that the information you provided here shall be treated with confidentiality and shall also be used for the
purpose of this teacher-training and coaching.

provide during the distance modular learning of my students.

Scale of Competency Assessment

With understanding of the important elements and areas of the topic/s in which they are going to be trained of and
coached with;

Possess the pre-requisite knowledge, skills and values that shall facilitate in their training-coaching process;

Ask for advice and support from experienced colleagues to be able to apply essential principles in their pedagogical
practices.

2 - PROFICIENT

With professional independence in the application of knowledge and skills;

Exhibit skills in planning and managing instruction when applying knowledge about the given module topics;

Actively engage in collaborative learning with their peers and superiors when discussing about the specific areas of
competency;

Reflect on one’s teaching practices in terms of application of knowledge and skills
