I. The honorable conference chairs, Professor Dr. Ir. Sarjito from Universitas Muhammadiyah Surakarta,
Associate Prof. Dr. Ir. Waluyo Adi Siswanto from Universitas Muhammadiyah Surakarta, Associate Prof.
Dr. Mohammad Sukri Mustapa from Universiti Tun Hussein Onn Malaysia, Associate Prof. Dr. Ir. Tri
Widodo Besar Riyadi from Universitas Muhammadiyah Surakarta, Associate Prof. Dr. Agus Dwi
Anggono from Universitas Muhammadiyah Surakarta, our keynote speaker Dr. Nadiah binti Ishak from
Kolej Universiti Islam Melaka. Our distinguished guests, ladies and gentlemen.

II. First of all, let us thank Allah SWT who gave us blessings and health during this unfortunate time. Not to
mention, we also want to send our prayers be upon him Rasulullah SAW and his progeny. To begin the
opening ceremony with the blessings. I would like to invite Mr. David to lead the du'a recitation and a
moment of silence. The time is yours… Thank you for the du’a recital Mr David.

III. To begin with, I would like to introduce myself. My name is Sharfina Mutia Syarifah an alumnus from
Universiti Tun Hussein Onn Malaysia and I will be your emcee and moderator for today. I would also like
to introduce to you, Dr. Siti Farhanah S.M Johan alumnus from Universiti Tun Hussein Onn Malaysia,
Dr. Noor Amira Sarani from Wawasan Open University, Malaysia and Ms. Atqiya Muslihati an alumnus
from Universiti Tun Hussein Onn Malaysia as our moderators for today.
IV. On behalf of the organizers;

V. we wish to extend our warm welcome “Selamat Datang” and thank you to all participants and
representatives from international institutions for joining us today on the 4 th International Conference of
Advanced Materials Science (ICOAMS2021) in conjunction with the 11 th International Conference in
Mechanical and Manufacturing Engineering (ICME2021).
VI. Ladies and gentlemen, for your information, there will be about 32 presenters which are from industrial
experts and professionals who are joining us today. We are expecting various contributions to papers in
the area of materials sciences and related interdisciplinary engineering fields from all of you. We hope
that this program will further stimulate research and innovations which provides practitioners with
better techniques and tools for deployment. We feel honored and privileged to serve the best to you
through this exciting program.
VII. Ladies and gentlemen, I would like to invite all of you to join us singing the Indonesian Anthem
‘Indonesia Raya’ continued with the Muhammadiyah mars song ‘Sang Surya’, please rise… Thank you

VIII. Without further ado, I would like to share a welcoming speech by Professor Dr. Ir. Sarjito from
Universitas Muhammadiyah Surakarta the conference chair of ICOAMS 2021. Thank you very much
Professor for the remarkable speech.

IX. Next, I would like to welcome our very special guest for today, our keynote speaker Dr. Nadiah binti
Ishak the Head of Research Management Center, Kolej Universiti Islam Melaka (KUIM). Before inviting
Dr. Nadiah to present, I would like to share a portion of her resume… without further ado, please

X. By this, it is the end of the Opening Ceremony, I am thankful to all guests and participants for attending
this ceremony. We will have about a 10 minutes break and we will start at 10 am Indonesian time. There
will be two dedicated presentation rooms thus, for ROOM 1, the participants should stay with us in this
zoom room or the same link, while for ROOM 2 participants will need to shift to another room where
the link is provided in the chat box. The updated schedule is uploaded to our chat room, please make
