First of all, let us thank Allah SWT who gave us blessings and health during this unfortunate
time. Also, we want to send our prayers to Rasulullah SAW and his progeny. To begin the
opening ceremony with the blessings. I would like to invite Mr. Hiskia Sains Assajuly
Syamsuddin to lead the du'a recitation and a moment of silence. The time is yours… Thank
you for the du’a recital Mr Hiskia.

To begin with, I would like to introduce myself. My name is Zakiya Gania a student of
Biotechnology program from Universitas Aisyiyah Yogyakarta, Indonesia, and I will be your
master of ceremony for today. I would also like to introduce you to, Ms. Sharfina Mutia
Syarifah, Bachelor of Science., Master of Engineering Technology as our moderator and
speaker’s translator for these two days.

We wish to extend our warm welcome “Selamat Datang” and thank you to all participants
and representatives from Indonesia and Malaysia institutions for joining us today on the
INTERNATIONAL WORKSHOP "MindTech for Success in Your Studies".
The exploration of how to hone and sharpen students' critical thinking and problem solving
skills, in particular to increase their engagement, efficiency, and learning effectiveness have
started this morning with several sessions, and will continue until tomorrow. We feel honored
and privileged to serve the best to you through this exciting program.

Ladies and gentlemen, I would like to invite all of you to join us singing the national anthem
of the Republic of Indonesia and to be followed by the mars song of Universitas Aisyiyah
Yogyakarta. We would like to request you all to rise.

The official opening of the INTERNATIONAL WORKSHOP "MindTech for Success in

Your Studies" will be conducted by hitting the gong, a traditional metal instrument, as
symbolic gesture to call for community's attention to take an important action.

The INTERNATIONAL WORKSHOP "MindTech for Success in Your Studies" is now
officially opened!

By this, it is the end of the Opening Ceremony, I am thankful to all guests and participants for
attending this ceremony. We will have about a 30 minute break and we will start at 9 am
Indonesian time.

We wish you productive and fruitful sessions for these two days. Do not forget to enjoy
Yogyakarta, as there are plenty things that Yogyakarta can offer, almost to everyone. Do
spend your time for shopping, to get some souvenirs for your family and friends back home.
