Dear Dr. Crespo:

The Department of Science and Technology – Science Education Institute (DOST-SEI) is

pleased to inform you of the upcoming 2022 Junior Level Science Scholarships (JLSS)
Examination. DOST-SEI shall award scholarships to on-going second year college students
who are currently enrolled in priority science and technology (S&T) courses by means of
qualifying in a competitive examination.

This year, DOST-SEI will be conducting the said examination on August 27-28, 2022, for the
2022 Junior Level Science Scholarships to applicants in the region and we are currently
scouting venues for the said activity.

In this connection, may we request from your office for the use of 4 (four) rooms that can
accommodate 20 persons per room to include the following facilities: tables, tablet
chairs, lights, public address systems, air-conditioner, etc. during the activity. Please
also consider the minimum health standards of IATF. Should there be rental fees for the
use of the Hall and its facilities, please fill up the attached Request for Quotation. We
appreciate if you can send your quotation on or before July 24, 2022.
