G-Tile Suspended System

Technical Guide
DESCRIPTION
➢ G-tile system is a suspended ceiling system, ideal for covering all the electrical and mechanical
ductwork necessary for installing lightening, HVAC system, and fire detectors.
➢ The system consists of a suspended tee grid and Gtiles, with different combinations of installation.
➢ G-tiles are manufactured either as plain gypsum tiles or perforated tiles for applications where certain
acoustical requirements are needed.

Plain G-tiles

Perforated G-tiles

1
FEATURES

➢ Durability, Easy installation, and maintenance: Lay on system, easy handling, and repair. In
addition to highly tensile hangers which allow easy and fast installation. In addition, G-tiles have
very low maintenance requirements since they are washable and scratch resistant.
➢ Eco-friendly and Biodegradable: our tiles are made of robust, glass fiber reinforced material with
high performance. Therefore, product properties are preserved and there is no decomposition of
material over time.
➢ Aesthetic look: Design flexible, suits commercial and residential buildings.
➢ Light reflectance: Highly reflective tiles, reducing the need for lighting in the room; Thus,
decreasing the energy consumption.
➢ Aesthetic look: suits commercial and residential buildings.
➢Acoustical benefits : Acoustic fleece glued on back side of the perforated G-tile ensures excellent
sound absorption properties. The fleece absorbs sound waves reducing noise pollution to
minimum.
➢Thermal insulation: application of aluminum foil backing for plain G-tiles offers thermal insulation,
and can stabilize the indoor temperature providing comfortable environment. Thus, the energy
cost for heating and cooling is reduced to minimum.

2
G-TILE PLAIN
G-tiles are made of gypsum, free of any toxic substances, and meet all international health
requirements. Highly durable tiles providing thermal stability for closed areas.

APPLICATION
G-tiles are suitable for different applications such as:

➢ Reception areas ➢ Showrooms, office buildings

➢ Meeting rooms, Conference ➢ Toilets, humid areas

➢ Cafeterias, Restaurants ➢ Malls, Lounges, Shops

FINISH SURFACE
Plain ceiling Tiles are gypsum based, typically 600 x 600 /1200 tiles with finishing surface as follows:

Front Side:

Option 1: PVC laminated white surface (closest match RAL 9003, gloss 5 or Other colors are available
upon request. PVC tiles do not need painting and can be installed directly onsite. In addition to offering
high moisture resistance for critical areas.

Option 2: Gypsum painted surface (closest match RAL 9003, gloss 5). Other colors are available upon
request and/or can be easily painted onsite.

Back Side: Aluminum foil for thermal insulation; can be backed up by additional mineral wool

GTILE PERFORATED
Perforated Gtiles offer virtually endless design possibilities for acoustic ceilings. Our solutions strike a
perfect balance between functionality and aesthetics and meet the highest requirements to a state-of-
the-art ceiling system. The excellent quality of the round and square holes guarantees the precise
appearance of the ceiling.

APPLICATION
Perforated Gtiles can be used in the same applications as the plain tiles as well as in applications with
strict acoustic requirements such as hospitals, schools, cinemas, theatres

STORAGE AND HANDLING

Gtiles shall be delivered in closed packages and stored for a short a time. Pallets must be stored

in an interior storage to avoid humidity and temperature exposure.

Materials should be handled in such a manner to prevent physical damage. If mistakenly material

is damaged, it is preferable not to install it.

The tiles should be laid face to face to avoid soiling and damaging during site work.

It is recommended to use clean cotton gloves when handling the Gtiles in order to ensure a good

result and a clean ceiling without fingermarks.
