PWOS – Curtains / Props / 21 – 23rd July at The Rose Theatre, Sidcup

Curtains is a Musical Comedy Whodunnit in 2 Acts.

Get in jobs
Tim we’re hoping to black curtain or use flats instead of the 2 upstage voms
I also want to place drums in the open doorway. Jonathan said we can’t shield him around
with blacks but can use flats for this.
Build Boat, steps and fence - JohnC & Robin

Backstage team of Ben (DSM), Crew Ray, Fiona, Rob & Kathryn.

Get-in is 10am Tuesday 19th July

Build wise it should be pretty simple.

- Ray is fitting casters wheels to the bar so it can be moved more easily.  With some
assistance from Rob.

- We need to affix ropes from rear of doughnut to the circle railings to make that part of the
circle look like fly space of a theatre. Olivia perhaps you can help me with this and other get-
in helpers.

- We will affix some curtaining to the front of the railings to make that look more aesthetic.
& fixing and setting bunting. Me, Olivia and other helpers

- JC & Tim will be managing the boat/steps/fence structure.  Rob can assist for that.

- Props and costumes are building a dummy for the hanging.

- Jonathan Hill is attaching the body to a pulley system so it sits at the nipple of the Rose.
On the cue back stage team will release the pulley so the body hangs at end of Act 1 and then
is re-hoisted at the close of Act 1.

Ivan (Sound) will be coming in at 10am to set-up sound desk

Ryan (Lights) will also be setting up/adjusting rig during the day of the get-in

SueK (props) will be managing the props and we'll sort out the set props.

Shelagh (costumes) for the 3 rails + other dressings.
