CAN’T BEAT FALL

RETREAT!
October 2021
We just returned from our annual Fall Retreat in Hot Springs, and
the Lord did some incredible things! Over 40 students from UCA
and other college campuses, as well as young adults from across
churches in Arkansas were baptized and fully surrendered their
lives to Jesus Christ over the weekend. Lives are being changed
and students are coming to know Jesus better! I can’t thank you
all enough for your support and prayers that help make all this
possible.

Jonathan has been attending my D Group since day 1 and

attended Fall Retreat with me. I’ve seen the Lord opening up his
heart more since he rst started attending D Group and worship
services, and over the weekend, God has opened his heart even
more. Here’s what Jonathan had to say about his weekend

I got to help lead worship at the retreat!

“During my time at Fall Retreat, the Lord opened
my eyes to many things that I should have

realized before then. One of the lessons that

opened my eyes was doing vs being. This

basically meant that I was just doing things that

related to the Lord rather than putting more

focus towards him. An example of doing would be

reading the Bible and just going to church.

While being would be things like singing aloud

during worship time and spending more time

thinking about Jesus. I plan on moving forward

with this message by spending more time alone

with Jesus. Whether it would be in thought, in

prayer, in worship, or anything else. I am going to

give more time to him who strengthens me.

Coming back home from Fall Retreat, I feel more

connected with the Lord than ever.”
