Safety Management System (SMS). The SMS is designed to ensure the Company's activities are
sufficiently controlled to protect personnel, property and the environment from all identified
risks and hazards that can be reasonably expected.

INTRODUCTION

Lilly Maritime is an Indian company registered at Mumbai on 13th September 1996, as


per Company’s Act 1956. The Company is promoted and managed by Marine Professionals
having adequate exposure and experience in Ship Operation and Technical Management.

The company is positioned as a scalable, people driven organization, supported by State-of-the-


art infrastructure, tested processes and a focus on quality. The company is a profitable dividend
paying company.

The Company aims at improving the performance of vessels under its charge and optimizes the
operating cost by:

 Implementing Quality Management System as per the standard of ISO 9001:2015


 Implementing ISM Code & ISPS Code of International Maritime Organization (IMO)
 Careful selection of Officers and Crew as per the requirements of the STCW 2010
Convention and Flag requirements with experience in type, size and trade of subject
vessel. Cloud based Software implemented for Monitoring the performance, Training
and retention of the Manpower.
 Carefully planning, Preventive Maintenance Schedule of all Equipment on board and the
Hull and monitoring the execution thereof. Software has been implemented on board
Ships and ashore for the PMS and HSEQ monitoring functions.
 Regular Pre-vetting, supervision of vessel and training of crew for safe operation
 Maintaining all trading, SOLAS Mandatory Certificates & Classification certificates and
keeping them updated.

Rethina K. Kumar (Managing Director)

Promoter, a Mechanical Engineering graduate from Madras University. Chief Engineer (Class I Motor F.G.),
Qualified by Dept. Of Transport. U.K. Sailed in the capacity of Chief Engineer for 5 years on Reefer Vessels,
amongst others (including taking delivery from the yard). Worked ashore in a Ship Management Company as
a Senior Manager over five years. Acquired hands on experience for Technical Management and Manning of
reefer vessels, amongst others.

Undergone various training in Ship Management, Quality Systems and completed a Course on Time
Management conducted by Dale Carnegie Institute London. Completed courses on ISM Internal Auditor &
CSO/PFSO for the ISPS Code. Qualified HAZMAT Expert by Class NK.

Responsible for the Company’s Growth by Innovation and customer satisfaction.

R. Balakrishnan (Chief Financial Officer)


Commerce graduate from Madras University. Banker with 30 years of Experience in various Nationalized
Banks.

Served as Executive Director and Acting Chairman of ANDHRA BANK LTD. Completed a Project in setting
up United Stock Exchange deals with Foreign Currency derivatives at Mumbai.

Responsible for the Company’s Finance Management and Tax Planning.

Senthil Kumar (UAE Representative)


Qualified Chief Engineer (Class I Motor FG), Sailed in the capacity of Chief Engineer for over 4 years. Served
with SEASPAN, Canada as Superintend for 2 year.

Undergone Quality Management system training Courses. Completed Ship Management Diploma from
Lloyds Register.

Appointed by the Company to act as Representative and Responsible for third party inspection and
monitoring the Safety Management system onboard and marketing of the Company's services

Capt. Dibyendu Das (Marine Superintendent –DPA /CSO)


Master Mariner qualified by Govt. of India. He has sailed in the capacity of Sr. Officer and Master on various
Vessels with sailing experience over 20 years, operational and management expertise (Senior Management
role ship-based 3 Years) in the Marine Industry.

He is responsible for implementation of Safety Management System, as per ISO and ISM Code onboard the
Managed/owned vessels of fleet for Bulk / Tanker and Offshore Vessels and liaising with administration and
authorities with respect to legal and operational requirements for fleet. Monitoring the selection procedure for
ship/shore staff along with requirements to comply as per RPSL, STCW requirements. To monitor and
implement statutory /commercial requirements onboard and identify and implement required training for
ship/shore staff as per ISM , ISPS , MLC , ISO Requirement. Monitor and prepare for Company Audits.

Mr. Masatoshi Yokota (Advisor)


Resident Advisor to Lilly Maritime, India for promoting business in Japanese maritime sector. Previously, he
represented a major international ship-management company in Japan for over 7 years. He has a vast and
wide experience over 30 years having associated with one of the leading financial institutions in Japan mainly
taking responsibility for marine-related business.

P. Balakrishnan (Technical Manager- Workshop)

A Graduate in Mechanical Engineer with 15 Years of Ch Engg experience and 12 years of Shore based
Maintenance Team.

Presently in charge of Shore based Shipboard maintenance and Repairs for Upkeep. Completed various
Quality and safety Trainings.

Capt. Rozario Jude (Marine Superintendent)


Master Mariner qualified by Govt. of India. He has sailed in the capacity of Sr. Officer and Master on various
Vessels with sailing experience over 10 years, operational and management expertise (Senior Management
role ship-based 3 Years) in the Marine Industry.

Vaibhav Amre (Technical Manager)


A Marine Engineering Officer Class I, sailed for 12 years onboard service including 4 years as Ch. Engineer.

He is presently In charge of Technical management of Tanker and Responsible for implementation of Safety
Management System, as per ISO and ISM Code onboard the Managed vessels.

Pramod Wagh (Technical Superintendent)


A Marine Engineering Officer Class I sailed for 8 years onboard service including 1 year as Ch. Engineer.

He has served as Technical Superintendent / CSO /DPA in Ship Management Company for 2 years. He is
presently In charge of Technical management of Tanker.

Responsible for implementation of Safety Management System, as per ISO and ISM Code onboard the
Managed vessels.

Sridhar Mantina (Technical Superintendent - Offshore)


Marine Engineer Officer with sailing Experience on offshore vessel sailed for 8 years on board service
including 2 years as Ch. Engineer.

He has served as Technical Superintendent with various offshore Company for 6 years.

Presently He is Technical Superintendent for Offshore Vessel and to implement Safety Management System,
as per ISO and ISM Code on board the Managed vessels and liaising with administration.

Maheshwar K.S. (Head - Chartering)


Graduate Engineer with overall 25 years of experience in the field of shipping industry in commercial
operations of Offshore Vessels, Supply Vessels, General Cargo Ships and Oil Tankers.

He is presently involved in Commercial and Operation Management of Offshore Support Vessels.

Responsible for implementation of Safety Management System, as per ISO and ISM Code onboard the
Managed vessels and liaisoning with administration.

ACTIVITIES

Ship Management
Technical
Company takes the responsibility of operating and maintaining the sea going vessels entrusted by the Owners
as per the International safety standards with lowest down time possible.
This includes:
Planning and executing the Routine maintenance, voyage repairs.
Liaison with Classification Societies and carry out the surveys for revalidation of Statutory and trading
certificates.
Arrange and supply Spares and consumable stores at a competitive cost for the Maintenance of the
vessel.
Plan and Carry out Dry-docking of the vessels at their due dates.

Crew
The Company Sources and maintains a roaster of efficient Masters and Crew. They are selected as per the Flag
requirements and the Contractual Obligation with the Owner. The selection includes;
Compliance of Safe manning requirement of the Flag Administration.
Compliance of Certificate of Competency and STCW 2010,
Experience in operating / handling of similar vessels for Deck officers and Deck crew.
Experience in operation and maintenance on similar Engines and equipment fitted onboard for
Engineers and Engine Crew.
Medical examination for fitness onboard the vessel.
All personnel travel documents valid for the period of employment.
Compliance of Statutory requirements i.e. I. Tax, P.F., and other as per CBA agreements.
Marine Training to internal and external ship staff

Port and Terminal Management


Jetty operations
Reliance Petroleum Pvt. Ltd. has appointed the Company to provide Jetty Operations, Pollution
control / Recovery activities at Reliance Jamnagar Marine Terminal.
Bharat Petroleum has appointed the company to provide Jetty Operations, Pollution control /
Recovery activities at JNPT Oil Terminal

Pigging services
Company provides process pigging services to Reliance Refinery and Essar Refinery at Sikka
Jamnagar. Provide product pigging services of the pipe lines at Chennai for Reliance and HPCL.
Company provides cargo handling services from Jetty to Tank form and pigging services of the pipe
lines at Haldia Port & Ennore Port.

Oil Spill Recovery and Pollution Control


Reliance Ports and Terminals have appointed The Company as the Third-party agency for providing Pollution
control and Recovery work. This includes;
Initiate containment and recovery operation in case of spill.
Co-ordinate and carry out drills on monthly basis.
Train the operators of the crafts employed in the terminal.
Inspect the vessels calling at the port terminal and SPM for compliance of the MARPOL regulation,
housekeeping and oil separating equipment.
Co-ordinate with coast guard on contingency operation for the Gulf of Kutch-Gujarat area.

Ship Repair & Shore based Maintenance


Company has a team of Engineers and professionals who handle the onboard maintenance and repairs. This
includes;
Steel renewal to hull, hatch covers and superstructures.
Renewal of pipe lines in Engine room and on deck.
Electrical and control system repair, modification.
Design and fabrication of Electronics equipment for shipboard use (Navigational Alarm Panel, Engine
Telegraph, Exhaust Temperature Scanner units.
Maintenance of Bridge and Fire Alarm systems.

Consultancy and Supervision of Green Ship Recycling / Inventory of Hazardous


Material

Company has been providing Consultancy services to improve the Ship Recycling process by implementing
quality systems for the past 16 years.
Consultant to Yard Owner for developing HKC compliant plots in Alang
Worked closely with Class NK in arranging training program for HAZMAT Expert.
Joined Hands with NKCS and GSR in providing consultancy services for improving the systems and
procedures to comply Hong Kong Convention in Green Ship Recycling.
Developing Inventory of Hazardous Material for Ships (IHM).
Third party Supervision of the Recycling process and report to the Owners for compliance of Green
Ship Recycling.
Ship Recycling monitoring for owner at the yard.
Providing training to improve safety consciousness in the yard.
