PRACTICAL EXAM: SCRAPBOOK-MAKING/VIDEO PRESENTATION

General Instruction: For this practical exam, you may choose between: Scrapbook-making or Video
Presentation.

INSTRUCTIONS FOR SCRAPBOOK-MAKING:


1. Create an appealing scrapbook of not less than 10 pages with the title “10 Interesting Facts about Our
Earth” on the cover page. The scrapbook should be of a folded short bond paper in size. Utilization of
recyclable materials is highly encouraged.
2. Your scrapbook should contain the following:
 10 interesting trivia about the Earth and/or its components
- Attach illustrations (if possible)
- Indicate proponents (if available) and descriptions
3. Take note of the criteria for grading:

Content 30 points
Creativity 20 points
Style and Organization 10 points
Grammar 10 points
Promptness 20 points
Overall Impression 10 points
Total Score: 100 points

4. The schedule for this subject’s assessment is December 10, 2021 (8:00 a.m.). To submit your outputs,
look for your subject teacher at school, in the Teachers’ Office. The deadliest deadline will be on
December 15, 2021 (before 3:00 p.m.). Those who can submit their outputs at school before 3:00 p.m.
on December 15 or earlier will automatically have an addition of 10 points on top of the overall score.
On the other hand, submission after the deadliest deadline would mean a deduction of 2 points per day
from the “promptness” criterion. Note: Teachers will be available at school only until December 16
(3:00 p.m.).

INSTRUCTIONS FOR VIDEO PRESENTATION:


1. Make an informative yet creative video of not less than 3 minutes that would showcase “10 interesting
facts about the planet Earth”.
2. Make sure that you are visible in the video and that your voice is loud and clear.
3. The video should primarily contain the following:
 10 interesting trivia about the Earth and/or its components
- Attach illustrations related to the trivia
- Indicate proponents (if available) and descriptions
4. Take note of the criteria for grading:

5. Upload your video on your Facebook account and do not forget to tag your subject teacher: Becca
Casio. Make sure to take a screenshot and send it to your subject teacher via Messenger, confirming the
date and time of your submission.
6. The schedule for this subject’s assessment is December 10, 2021 (8:00 a.m.). The deadliest deadline will
be on December 15, 2021 (before 3:00 p.m.). Submission after the deadliest deadline would mean
deduction of 2 points per day from the “promptness” criterion.
