Theme: Live Before You Leave

Objective: The purpose of this task is to unveil the eyes of the audience towards the essential concepts about
Earth and its relation to life.

INSTRUCTIONS:
1. Create an appealing and interesting video presentation of not less than 3 minutes. For the content of your
video, kindly refer to objective written above. You may create your own message pertaining to the
theme. Otherwise, you may utilize any of the 5 guide questions below:
 What is the importance of studying Earth Science?
 Will humans become extinct? How?
 If there would be species that will be extinct 5,000 years from now? What would that be?
 If you could teach the entire world just one concept about the Earth, what would it be?
 What is the biggest waste of human potential?
 Is the meaning of life the same for animals and humans? Why do you say so?
 How will the Earth change if all humans’ life expectancy was significantly increased (let’s say
around 500 years)?
 What quote about the Earth is your favourite? Why?
 How is climate changing over time, and to what extent are humans impacting the change?
 What can be done to reduce the effects of climate change?
 If given a chance and with all the resources provided, would you choose to live in the planet
Mars together with your family? Why?
2. Make sure that you are visible on the video and that the audio is clear and audible enough. Upload your
video on your Facebook account. The aim of this task is solely to spread life among the audience, thus,
no reaction regarding the post will be counted in relevance with the grading. Also, do not forget to tag
your subject teacher’s Facebook account: Becca Casio.
3. Take note of the criteria for grading which are as follows:

4. The schedule for this subject’s exam is November 5, 2021 (8:00 a.m.). The deadliest deadline will be on
November 8, 2021 (before 3:00 p.m.). Those who can submit their outputs before 8:00 a.m. on
November 5 will automatically have an addition of 5 points on top of the overall score. On the other
hand, submission after the deadliest deadline would mean a deduction of 2 points per day from the
“promptness” criterion.

Note:
The task was provided a week before the intended schedule of examination.
