Prepare a six-minute video presentation comparing and contrasting three of the


top happiest cities in the world

A. TRIO PRESENTATION GUIDELINES

1. You will do a video presentation in groups of three. The purpose of this assignment
is not only to have you working closely with the course content, but also to get you
familiar and comfortable with oral presentations.

2. The group will need to decide who will start and close the presentation. Each
student of the group will deliver a mini presentation of the city assigned. Be as
creative as you wish.

3. Before the conclusion, the group is expected to analyze the similarities and
differences that lead these cities to happiness. Use a Venn diagram.

4. The conclusion should summarize the main points discussed and give a final
message (a quote , a call to action, etc).
5. Each of the presentations will be watched during class time on day 1 week 6, and
each group should be prepared to answer questions based on their talk.

a. It is expected that all the group members have their cameras open to
answer questions after the video is watched on Week 6. If this is not
possible, they will be asked to use the chat to answer the question(s)
the professor will make.
b. The professor will decide who will answer the question(s).

6. Presentations must not be edited as group interaction should be displayed.

7. A group grade will be assigned for the presentation. Therefore, the team leader
should encourage each member to collaborate to achieve the final goal of the
presentation. Potential problems should be solved by the group, and group
decisions will be respected by the professor.

b. Improve your script by following the feedback you received.

c. Check the pronunciation of words if they are new. You can use (e.g.
https://dictionary.cambridge.org

d. Practice the presentation in groups many times and time it.

e. Video record the presentation on Zoom (or another source) and upload it to
YouTube. Once it is on YouTube, a link is automatically created. Posted it as
“listed” or “not private”.

f. Make sure it has good quality of voice and image.

g. Individually, upload the link of your YouTube video presentation to UEvirtual.


Each member of the group will have to upload the link and final script to receive
the feedback on the presentation.

1. Before submitting the assignment, make sure your video meets the following
question: Does our video meet the goal of the task?
2. Double check this in the assessment criteria.

 Displays detailed knowledge and understanding of the


limitations of the task.
o Provides relevant information about what makes
these three cities the happiest in the world using
facts, evidence and examples.
