NAME: Princess Kaila S. Jore GRADE AND SECTION: ABM 11 C
1.Explain the fallowing names and titles listed below.
A. Jesus- The name Jesus is his personal and human name. Jesus is the son of God
in Christianity, and in many modern Christian religious, he is also known as God
the son, The second person of the trinity. He ascended to the right hand of God in
heaven, and he would return to the earth for the last judgment and the creation
of God’s Kingdom.
B.Christ- Christ is the English term for the Greek(Kristos)means that “the
anointed one”.it is a translation of the Hebrew (Messiah).In moder usage –even
with secular circles –the term usually refers explicitly to Jesus of Nazareth.
C.Rabbi- The rabbi means “master”. It connotes respect and hour. Jesus public
ministry include his teaching activity as he proclaims the good news in the power
of the holy spirit as a wandering preacher and religious teacher.
D.shepherd- It is refers to a person who herds and takes care of the sheep. Jesus
as the God Shepherd is the one mediator between God and man; the one who
leads the sheep to the posture; he is one who knows and love the sheep and gives
up his life freely for them.
E.Jesus as prophet- His vocation is to proclaim the word of God with signs and
wonders and to suffer a martyr’s fate, death.
f. Jesus as priest- The priest served as temporary mediators between God and
man. They made the sacrifices that were needed by the law. There was only the
one who gave. The sacrifice that cleansed the people for a year. Jesus is not only
fulfilled the role of a priest but he exceed the role of the High Priest removing our
sins forever.
G.Jesus as king- God had no need for Israel to have a human leader. God allowing
his people to have what they wanted, to be life other nations, and acknowledge
the consequences was the lineage of kings. A king is a person who has full control
over another person. This place was assigned to Jesus before he was born.
H.Son of God- In the bible, Jesus is referred to as the son of God, which implies
that he is God manifested in human form (John 1:1,14).Since he was born by the
holy spirit, that is God (luke1:35),Jesus is the son of God. The word “son of man“
was used to refer to a human being during Jesus’ time. In this regard, Jesus’ states
as the son of God implies that he is God.
I. The Word- To call Jesus the unique word of God’s message as well as God’s
ultimate and perfect messenger.
J. Lord- In the Old Testament, the most common title for Jesus Christ is Lord. We
are all familiar with another word: supervisor, despite the fad the rarely use it in
our everyday lives. Lord literally means literally means to “one who has authority,
influence, and control.”
2. Reflect on your personal and religious experience and give five/names that you
can attribute to God. Who is he in your life? State a short description of each
tittle/name.
 Jesus is my sunshine-I woke up every day in a very good mood and I feel
blessed as days passed by and Jesus still allows me to live in this world.
 Jesus is my hope-Jesus give us hope that everything will be alright.
 Jesus is my Everything-He is my everything because he listen to all my
problem in life and makes a way to make me despite all problems.
 Jesus is my ultimate love-He is my ultimate love because he never
abandoned me and his promise, he make sure to fulfill all those promises
for us.
3. After taking this subject, what does Christology give to you? What do you think
is the message of Christ to you in your journey towards?

-It help me a lot to know more about Jesus life and journey. The of Christ is that I
should have fate in everything to him to continue fighting all the problems and I
will encounter, be good to everyone and share your blessings for those people
who need it.
