This course aims to provide an overview of linguistics


as a discipline as well as its development, structure,
and importance to teaching the English language.

language and language learning and their
influence on language teaching

the knowledge of linguistic theories and
concepts and apply it to the teaching of
communication skills – listening, speaking, reading,
writing, and grammar
