Librarians Dress Code

1. Hair, Spectacles 1.1 According to school rules 2. Name Tag, Badges 2.1 Only Librarian badges and tags are allowed on your librarian uniform, unless you are on duty for your other club/society/board. (NILAM badge is counted as a librarian badge). The EXCOs will not hesitate to suspend anyone who does not strictly follow this rule. 2.2 Badges which are badly bent , dented or paint came off are to be replaced. 2.3 Librarians who are not wearing name tags or librarian badge will be fined RM2 for each item. 3. Shirt 3.1 Tucked in neatly. Do NOT ever un-tuck your shirt even though you are outside the school compound or for whatever reason. Those who are failed to do so will be fined RM2. 3.2 Long Sleeve shirt sleeves CANNOT be folded up. Those who are failed to do so will be fined RM2. 3.3 Make sure your shirt is well ironed. 3.4 When you are wearing your long sleeved shirt, you are must wear black leather shoes. Those who are failed to do so will be fined RM2. 3.5 Librarians who are on duty MUST wear their long sleeved shirt. Those who are failed to do so will be fined RM2. 4. Tie 4.1 Must be worn PROPERLY, at all times unless removed with the permission of teacher. 4.2 After school, you CANNOT take it off. (Never leave it dangling round the neck with the collar unbuttoned) . Those who are failed to do so will be fined RM2. 4.3 Tie MUST be worn whenever you are inside the library. 4.4 Length of the tie should not exceed belt buckle, and should not be too short (should cover all the shirt buttons if possible) 5. Belt 5.1 A black belt must be worn AT ALL TIMES for male librarians. 5.2 The belt should follow school regulations.

6. Pants 6.1 Keep it clean at all times (Try your Best!) 6.2 Iron your pants. ( For male librarians ) 6.3 For female librarians, you should wear tidy and clean dress at all time. 7. Shoes and Socks 7.1 Do not use your black leather shoes for Pendidikan Jasmani periods. 7.2 Only plain black shocks are allowed to wear with black leather shoes. No other colours. 7.3 You can choose to wear white shoes (with white socks) or black leather shoes ( with black socks ). 8. Blazer 8.1 Navy Blue blazer with LIBRARIAN monogram. 8.2 Librarians who are on duty MUST wear their blazer. Those who are failed to do so will be fined RM2. ALL THE FINES WILL BE COLLECTED AFTER A VERBAL WARNING* Once again, The EXCOs will not hesitate to take strict action, which may include suspension against Librarians who disregard or disrespect these rules above. ATTENTION YOUR IMAGE IS IMPORTANT BECAUSE LIBRARIANS UNIFORM IS THE MOST OUTSTANDING AND MOST VISIBLE IN THIS SCHOOL. THEREFORE, ANY FORM OF SLOPPINESS IS EASILY SEEN BY ANYONE, INCLUDING OUTSIDERS.
