Competency: The learners:
Use the word processor’s mail merge facility to do a mail merge by combining a
main document with a data source.

III. PROCEDURE
A. PREPARATION Prayer
Attendance
Motivational Question: Have you tried sending invitation letters? Solicitation letter? Application letter?
How did you do it?
Activity: Each student is given 10 minutes to create a letter.

Create a Body document of any business letter.

The letters will be collected after 10 minutes.


Analysis: Asks the students the following questions:
-What type of business letter do you prefer to create?
-To whom you will address the letter

B. PRESENTATION
Abstraction: Class discussion on mail merge:
- What is Mail Merge?
- Why would you use Mail Merge?
- When would you use Mail Merge?

C. PRACTICE:
Exercises: Create any business letter by using mail merge. The teacher will present steps
in making mail merge

Application: The students will demonstrate and present some examples of mail merge
application.

content”) at least 5 recipients by using mail merge application.
