Topic: Identifying the problem and Asking the question
Materials: Projector, laptop, speaker, bond paper, manila paper and marker

A. PRELIMINARY ACTIVITIES
1. Daily Routine

-Checking of Attendance

2. Motivation
The teacher will present four pics one word game. The students will try to
guess the word that describes the picture.
B. ACTIVITY
Collaborative Learning Activity
The class will be divided into three groups and will be given 10 minutes to
do a brainstorming. They will think of a possible problem related to their track,
try to formulate a short introduction, background of the problem and a
statement of the problem. They can have it in a manila paper and present it
afterwards. There will be a reflection on their activity, follow and each group
will post their work or displayed in the classroom.

Reflection:
1. How did you find the given activity?
2. What did you learn from the activities?
3. Why is it important to know the parts of a research paper?
4. What makes you say that there is a need to solve this problem?

C. ANALYSIS

1.What personal reason do you have in choosing the title?


2.What present situation in your school motivates you to study that problem?
3.What are the questions you want to give solutions or answers?

D. ABSTRACTION
Mini Lecture
Introduction- defines as preliminary to the main portion
 The introduction should address the following:
 Create reader interest in the topic;
 Establish the problem that leads to the study;
 Place the study within the larger context of the scholarly literature;
 Reach out to a specific audience

E. APPLICATION
The students will create their own introduction, background of the problem
and a statement of the problem as their written output.

IV. EVALUATION
Identifying True or False.
