Djokovic, Medvedev, Nadal, Thiem, Tsitsipas, Zverev, Rublev and Federer were the eight Tennis players to
qualify to the Quarter Final (Knockout) stages of the ‘Tennis Exhibition Challenge’. There were four Quarter-
Finals, followed by two Semi-Finals, and a Final, each of these seven matches being knock out matches,
where the loser would crash out of the tournament, while the winner proceeds forward.
Eight sports analysts – May, Lay, Day, Way, Hay, Pay, Say and Ray decided to predict the final positions of
each of these eight Tennis players, based on the round where each player would be knocked out.
Incidentally, only three of them managed to predict all the Semi-Finalists correctly.

A new joiner wanted to know the approximate monthly salary offered to the employees of Mykinde Industries. He
reached out to a group of three current employees – Karey, Carey and Darey regarding their current monthly
salaries. This is how the discussion unfolded.
Darey: The sum of my salary and Karey’s salary is Rs. 1000 more than twice that of Carey’s salary.
Carey: Darey’s salary is not Rs. 79000.
Karey: Carey earns the least of the three of us.
Darey: I have the highest salary if and only if Carey is not having the least salary.
Carey: Either my salary is Rs. 74000 or Darey’s is Rs. 78000 or Karey’s is Rs. 76000.
Karey: Everyone’s salary is more than at least Rs. 75000.
Darey: The difference between Carey’s salary and mine is Rs. 2000.
Carey: Darey earns more than me.
Karey: My salary is the highest amongst the three of us.
However, not all of the above statements mad were true. In fact, only two of them had been speaking the truth
continuously, while the third had been bluffing throughout. The average salary of the three employees is not more
than Rs. 76000.

There are 21 employees working in a division, out of whom 10 are special-skilled employees (SE)
and the remaining are regular-skilled employees (RE). During the next five months, the division has
to complete five projects every month. Out of the 25 projects, 5 projects are "challenging", while the
remaining ones are "standard". Each of the challenging projects has to be completed in different
months. Every month, five teams - T1, T2, T3, T4 and T5, work on one project each. T1, T2, T3, T4
and T5 are allotted the challenging project in the first, second, third, fourth and fifth month,
respectively. The team assigned the challenging project has one more employee than the rest. In
the first month, T1 has one more SE than T2, T2 has one more SE than T3, T3 has one more SE
than T4, and T4 has one more SE than T5. Between two successive months, the composition of
the teams changes as follows: a. The team allotted the challenging project, gets two SE from the
team which was allotted the challenging project in the previous month. In exchange, one RE is
shifted from the former team to the latter team. b. After the above exchange, if T1 has any SE and
T5 has any RE, then one SE is shifted from T1 to T5, and one RE is shifted from T 5 to T1. Also, if
T2 has any SE and T4 has any RE, then one SE is shifted from T2 to T4, and one RE is shifted
from T 4 to T2. Each standard project has a total of 100 credit points, while each challenging project
has 200 credit points. The credit points are equally shared between the employees included in that
team.
