Circular for Selection trials for Sports

Dear Parents,
As announced by Principal Ma’am during her address on 28th May 2022 the
students will be selected for various games to represent the school.Kindly go
through the details mentioned below.

STD VI to X

The students who are interested to participate in sports competition for A.Y.
2022-23 for individual and team games are requested to fill the Google form
before 19th June 2022.

Team Selection Criteria:

Athletic
● 30 meter dash
● 4×10 shuttle run
● Standing broad jump
● Medicine ball throw
● Sit and reach test

Basketball
● Speed (shuttle run)
● Johnson skill test (passing, dribbling, shooting)
● Endurance (1 round football ground)
● Johnson field goal speed test(30 sec) Maximum basket made
Cricket

● Agility / Speed - 30 meters dash Criteria - Time Taken 

● Strength - Ball Hitting Criteria - Distance Covered
● Reflexes / Reaction Time - Drop Ball Criteria - Number of Catches Taken
● Endurance - 1 round of school ground (medium fast jogging) Criteria - Time Taken

Skating and Roll ball

● Skating 
●  Zigzag Skating 
●  Backwards skating 
●  Brakes 
●  Dribbling, passing and Shooting. 
●  Eight on skates 
●  Endurance (1 Lap of Football ground) 
● Off Skates: Endurance (1 Round of Football ground ) 
●  Skill test(Backwards running 100m, Zigzag, Side shuffling 50m)
●  Speed (100 M sprint)

Football

● 5 Rounds of ground
● Running with ball
● Passing / Receiving
● Long kick (shooting)
● Speed test
● Agility test
