Dear Parent,

At Presidium, we believe that it is extremely important to strike the right balance between
Academics and Sports.
Taking part in sports and games not only help children to reach higher level of physical fitness,
but also teaches them important life skills such as self discipline, confidence, teamwork and
leadership.
To ensure excellence in sports, we have developed a sporting structure that ensures 100%
participation from students. Further, it also gives them the freedom to choose the sport/ game of
their interest.
We observe and identify the talent of each child, during the sports period, and encourage them to
pursue the sport/ game they excel at.

PLEASE NOTE:
• For the students of Grade 4 and 5, the options are: Basketball, Table Tennis, Football,
Chess, Cricket, Taekwondo, Gymnastics, Yoga
• For students of Grade 6 and 8 above, the options are: Yoga, Table Tennis, Gymnastics,
Football, Cricket, Chess, Basketball.
• For students of Grade 9 and 10 above, the options are: Table Tennis, Gymnastics,
Football, Cricket, Chess, Basketball.
• The students will be allowed to opt for only one sport/ game from the above mentioned list.
• The students will be nurtured through advance coaching and will be trained to participate in
competitive sports/games, either during morning coaching/ after school coaching (applicable
as per weather condition).
• The school will provide basic equipments like basketball, table tennis ball, cricket ball, football
etc. The students should carry personal equipments like racquet, bat etc. Parents are
requested not to buy costly equipments, as the child is learning sports at a basic level. The
School will not be held responsible for any loss or damage to the equipment.
• The enrolment of the child will be done on first enrolled basis. However, the last decision will
remain with the School authority. If the seats for the first preferred game/sport are full, the
child’s name will be automatically enrolled for 2nd preferred game/sport.
• This enrolment in Game/ Sport will be valid for the entire Academic session.

Most importantly, let your child select the sport of his/her choice. This will inspire him/her to take
interest in the sport and perform better.

2022.
