I'd like to talk about a holiday which I took in 2009. It's a holiday that I remember
very well because we had such a fantastic time.
So we chose Da Lat city, which is actually situated in a highland region to the
south of Viet Nam. I went there with my family, that is the first time we went on a
holiday, and we still talk about this holiday today.
One of the main reasons why I pay a visit here is the weather. The atmosphere
with a refreshingly cool climate – other city in Viet Nam can be very hot and
humid, especially during summer.
Da Lat is famous for its wide variety of flowers, vegetable and fruit harvested from
its surrounding farmlands.
There also a good chance that I met young, enthusiastic and friendly Vietnamese
from every corner of the country during my visit here.
I remembered the first place we visited is The Da Lat Flower Gardens, which can
be found on the northern side of Xuan Huong Lake. I was impressed by the beauty
of orchids, roses, hydrangeas, peach blossoms and many different types of
flowers.
Just a 10-minute drive from Da Lat City, we went to Datanla Waterfalls, which is
also among visited attractions in Da Lat. My family hiked up the hills and swam in
clear water, but the most interesting activity is the alpine coaster ride. I’ll never
forget the moment thrilling ride up and down towards the base of Datanla
Waterfalls.
