PROMOTION TERMS AND CONDITIONS of

8.8 Guess the Item Voucher Giveaway:

1. 8.8 Guess the Item Voucher Giveaway is available for all Shopee Philippines users on Facebook.
2. By joining this voucher giveaway, the participant confirms that he/she has read, understood, and
agreed to the mechanics and its Terms & Conditions.
3. 8.8 Guess the Item Voucher Giveaway will run from August 3, 2022 (10:00AM PHT) until August
8, 2022 (11:59PM PHT). Below are the posts:

4. Participants should enable Push Notification on their Shopee Mobile App to be notified if they
have won the 8.8 Guess the Item Voucher Giveaway.
5. To submit a valid entry, all contest participants must do the following:
a. Guess the item in the artwork and comment their answer in the respective 8.8 Guess the
Item Voucher Giveaway Facebook posts where they wish to enter
b. Participants’ entries must not be data privacy intrusive (e.g. sharing of phone
numbers, full name, address, etc.)
c. Participants whose entries are found to be data privacy intrusive will be disqualified from
participating in the giveaway.
6. All participants are allowed and encouraged to submit multiple valid entries to any of the
voucher giveaway posts to increase their chances of winning.
a. A participant can only win once throughout the duration of the promotion period.
7. An official Shopee representative will choose winners of the ₱250 Shopee Discount Voucher
(₱1,000 minimum spend, valid until August 31, 2022) from the comments section of the respective
giveaway post using an online randomizer. The breakdown of winners per post are:

8. The chosen winners of the 8.8 Guess the Item Voucher Giveaway will receive a reply to their
comment from the official Shopee Philippines Facebook account no later than August 10, 2022.
a. The chosen winners should send a private message to the official Shopee Philippines
Facebook account and provide the following information no later than August 19, 2022.
Otherwise, the claiming of their prize will be forfeited:
i. Full name
ii. The correct Shopee username linked to their full name
iii. The correct mobile number linked to their Shopee username
b. When the winner provides their information to Shopee Philippines, they consent to allowing
Shopee Philippines to collect and process their personal information for the purposes of this
contest and to validate the winners in accordance with the Data Privacy Act of 2012 (R.A.

9. The winners are highly encouraged to enable/turn on his/her Push Notifications.
10. The winners will be notified that they won by an official Shopee Philippines Representative through
the mobile number, email address, and push notification (PN) via their Shopee account, which they
provided to the Official Shopee Facebook account.
11. The ₱250 Shopee Discount Voucher (minimum spend of ₱1,000, valid until August 31, 2022) will
be automatically preloaded to the winner’s Voucher Wallet within 10 working days of Shopee
acknowledging the winners’ message with the requested information. Voucher T&Cs shall apply.
12. Employees of Shopee Philippines, including their relatives up to the second degree of consanguinity
or affinity, are disqualified from joining the raffle.
13. Shopee reserves the right to disqualify winner/s that are suspected to be invalid or fraudulent
(i.e. abuse of system) from Shopee’s back-end.
14. By joining this campaign, participants hereby agree to give consent to Shopee Philippines on
having their usernames appear in Shopee's online touchpoints (i.e. Shopee Live, Shopee
Facebook account) and are allowing Shopee to use the submitted content as promotional
materials.
15. Participants who fail to follow the conditions within the indicated time frame will not be eligible to join
the giveaway.
16. Shopee will not require users to post personal data in all Shopee's social media platforms
and livestreams to enter a game/contest/raffle.
17. All applicable taxes will be shouldered by Shopee.
18. Shopee reserves the right to vary these Terms & Conditions.
