8 D-DAY GIVEAWAY TERMS AND CONDITIONS

1. The 8.8 Giveaway is available for all Shopee PH users on Facebook.

2. By joining this item giveaway, the participant confirms that he/she has read, understood, and
agreed to the mechanics and its Terms & Conditions.
3. The 8.8 Giveaway will run from August 4, 2022 (10:00AM PHT) until August 9, 2022 (11:59PM
PHT).
4. Shopee will be publishing a total of three (3) posts throughout the duration of the promo on its
official Facebook page (@ShopeePH) for the 8.8 Giveaway. The followers must answer the
prompt of each post in the comments section. All contest participants must do the following for
Rounds 1, 2, and 3:
a. First Post: August 4, 2022:
i. Like and follow Shopee and ShopeePay official Facebook pages
ii. Comment “ 👍” in the comments section of the post
b. Second Post: August 6, 2022:
i. Like and follow Shopee Philippines’ and ShopeePay’s official Facebook page
ii. Comment their answer to “para saan mo madalas ginagamit ang ShopeePay?”
in the comments section of the post
c. Third Post: August 8, 2022:
i. Like and follow Shopee Philippines’ and ShopeePay’s official Facebook page
ii. Reach 8,000 comments of #88ShopeePayFestival in the post
1. In case the goal will not be achieved, Shopee Philippines will still release
the cash giveaway.
d. Participants are encouraged to submit multiple valid entries to increase their chances of
winning.
e. Participants’ entries must not be data privacy-intrusive (e.g. sharing of phone numbers,
full name, address, etc.). Entries found to be data privacy-intrusive will be disqualified
from the giveaway.
5. Participants are encouraged to enable Push Notification on their Shopee Mobile App to be
notified if they have won the 8.8 D-Day giveaway.
6. The chosen one (1) winner of the ₱8,000 via ShopeePay will be randomly chosen from the
comments section of the third post dated August 8, 2022 using an online randomizer.
7. The chosen one (1) winner of the 8.8 D-Day giveaway will receive a reply to their comment
from the official Shopee Facebook account no later than August 12, 2022.
a. The chosen winner should send a private message to the official Shopee Philippines
Facebook/Instagram account and provide the following details no later than August 26,
2022. Otherwise, the claiming of their prize will be forfeited:
i. Their full name
ii. Their email address
iii. The correct Shopee username linked to their full name
iv. The correct mobile number linked to their Shopee username
b. When the winner provides their information to Shopee Philippines, they consent to
allowing Shopee Philippines to collect and process their personal information for the
purposes of this contest and to validate the winners in accordance with the Data
Privacy Act of 2012 (R.A. 10173) and Shopee’s Privacy Policy. Visit

 8.8 D-DAY GIVEAWAY TERMS AND CONDITIONS

8. The winner is highly encouraged to enable/turn on his/her Push Notifications.

9. The winner will be notified that he/she won the prize by an official Shopee Philippines
Representative through the mobile number and email address he/she provided in the message
to the official Shopee Facebook page, including a push notification (PN) via their Shopee
account.
10. The winner will see the ₱8,000 in their ShopeePay Wallet in the Shopee app within 60 days of
Shopee acknowledging the message of the winner providing the requested information via
private message. To receive the prize, the winners must ensure the following:
a. Have a fully activated and verified ShopeePay account.

11. The winner of 8.8 D-Day Giveaway will not be allowed to win any succeeding giveaways
hosted by any of the official Shopee social media accounts for the month of August 2022.
12. Employees of Shopee Philippines, including their relatives up to the second degree of
consanguinity or affinity, are disqualified from joining the raffle.
13. Shopee Philippines reserves the right to disqualify winner/s that are suspected to be invalid or
fraudulent (i.e. abuse of the system) from Shopee’s back-end. In the event that any of the
selected winner/s is suspected/confirmed to be invalid or fraudulent, Shopee will not be
replacing the disqualified winner for this giveaway.
14. By joining this campaign, participants hereby agree to give consent to Shopee Philippines on
having their usernames appear in Shopee's online touchpoints (i.e. Shopee Live, Shopee
Facebook account) and are allowing Shopee to use the submitted content as promotional
materials.
15. Shopee will not require users to post personal data in all Shopee's social media platforms and
livestreams to enter a game/contest/raffle.
16. All applicable taxes will be shouldered by Shopee.
17. Shopee reserves the right to vary these Terms & Conditions.
