SUBJECT: 3-Day District-Based Training-Workshop on Comprehensive Sexuality

Education (SE) and Menstrual Health Management (MHM)

Date : September 21, 2022

1. Pursuant DepEd Order No. 31, s. 2018 (Policy Guidelines on the

Implementation of the Comprehensive Sexuality Education), DepEd Division
of Leyte intensifies its effort in supporting this program as an integral part of
the countries commitment towards fulfillment of every Filipino’s right to help
and well-being especially of women and children. Thus, this Office shall
conduct a 3-Day District-Based Training-Workshop on Comprehensive
Sexuality Education (SE) and Menstrual Health Management (MHM) on
September 23-24 & 30, 2022 at Mayorga Central School, Mayorga, Leyte.

2. The training-workshop aims to;

a. establish a common understanding of Comprehensive Sexuality
Education (CSE), MHM key concepts and messages;
b. ensure implementation of protocols in CSE; and
c. widest implementation and support of the program

3. The participants of are all the teachers in elementary and subject areas key
participants in Junior High School and SHS (Personality Development) and
shall bring laptop, extension wire, K-12 curriculum guide, LP/DLL.

4. Expenses incurred in the conduct and participation of this seminar shall be

charged against school MOOE/SEF/other local funds subject to the usual
accounting and auditing rules and regulations.

5. Immediate dissemination and strict compliance with this Memorandum is

hereby desired.
