WRAP-UP
1. Cardiorespiratory is defined as a component of physiological fitness that relates to the ability of the
circulatory and respiratory systems to supply oxygen during sustained physical activity.
2. It is important to have good cardio-respiratory endurance because it improves oxygen uptake in the
lungs and heart and can help a person sustain physical activity for longer. It has a positive effect on
your overall health. This allows you to exercise for longer periods without getting tired.
3.
Warm – up before you stretch.
Avoid stretching muscles that are already over the stretch from poor posture.
Make sure you are stretching the muscle safely.
Do not stretch joints that are hypermobile, unstable, swollen, or infected.
Avoid stretching that last 30 sec or more before performing strength power activities.
