WRAP-UP
1. Cardiorespiratory is defined as a component of physiological fitness that relates to the ability of the
circulatory and respiratory systems to supply oxygen during sustained physical activity.
2. It is important to have good cardio-respiratory endurance because it improves oxygen uptake in the
lungs and heart and can help a person sustain physical activity for longer. It has a positive effect on
your overall health. This allows you to exercise for longer periods without getting tired.
3.
 Warm – up before you stretch.
 Avoid stretching muscles that are already over the stretch from poor posture.
 Make sure you are stretching the muscle safely.
 Do not stretch joints that are hypermobile, unstable, swollen, or infected.
 Avoid stretching that last 30 sec or more before performing strength power activities.
