1) From my vantage point, the state of leadership that was portrayed in the video

clip of the Suicide Squad movie was a combination of both the autocratic type and
the laissez-faire type. It is autocratic because as seen in the clip, the colonel
has some kind of absolute control or power over the team (criminals) and that as if
no one could interfere his actions and orders. This is particularly evident when
the colonel ordered everyone to listen up for their new task regarding the "nanite"
explosive and when he ordered Harlequin to shut up. Though the dominant style of
leadership seen on the video was autocratic, at the same time, I could perceive the
laissez-faire type of leadership because at the later part of the clip, the colonel
did not really ordered the team to strictly wear this and that, in fact it was seen
that they had the freedom to chose their own get-ups and manage their own
preparations after they were instructed. I could say that the leadership was
effective given the situation that criminals are being handled and that they could
just kill each other and many other people if it were to be the type of leadership
other than the autocratic type. I guess the leadership here could be improved if
the colonel have the ability to communicate well, being more patient and being not
violent with the team or squad.

2) Collectively, the video clip shows that the group formation is in the forming
stage. As shown, a group of criminals teamed up with the military is being formed
where team members were introduced and try to get along with each other, and plans
for a new task were being discussed. This is evident from the clip when two new
members were introduced, one of whom was named "Slipknot" and when Harlequin
introduced herself to the soldiers as well as when she told the colonel of her
attitude that she is quite vexing. Also evident, as mentioned earlier, was the
planning of the task on the "nanite" explosive. To move on to the next stage, the
group should be able to effectively form strong bonds with each other by knowing
each other well and explaining their expectations with the group, since they are
not really well acquainted with each other yet which is really essential in the
forming stage. As the forming stage is considered a "trial and error" stage,
conflicts might arise in which the possible hindrances that could prevent the team
from moving onto the next stage may include unwillingness to get along with one
another and prioritizing individual interests. The team should think open-mindedly
and be able to understand and appreciate the essence and importance of group
formation.

The United Architects of the Philippines Student Auxiliary USTP Chapter (UAPSA-
USTP) is one of the student organizations in USTP that provides an avenue for the
holistic growth of the architecture students of USTP. UAPSA-USTP is fueled with
dedication to provide rational activities to USTP Architecture students with full
commitment anchored with the values that the institution and the national
organization upholds. It envisions a community of learners that embody the core
values of the institution which aspire excellence in every move even beyond the
boundaries of the organization. As pointed out by the President of the UAPSA-USTP
of this year's administration, one of the problems encountered in their
organization is poor time management which in turn jeopardizes the execution of
their tasks at hand. Thus, the group proposes a simple activity that would somehow
assess their problem.

The activity is entitled "Time Wasters" wherein the group will think of four major
time wasters (e.g. travel time, procrastination, chitchat with friends). Then, the
group will be divided into 4 teams. Each team will have to think of more creative
ways to counter common time wasters. The activity will require an envelope and 4
blank index cards for each envelope. One envelop is issued to each team and on each
round with a time limit of 3 minutes, they are tasked with coming up with as many
ideas as possible to handle their time waster and write that on one of the index
cards, replacing it inside the envelop and passing it to the next team.such as
that you discussed in your class and use them in this follow-up activity to
reinforce learning and encourage participants to think of more creative ways to
counter common time wasters. Each team will then be asked to present their ideas in
front of the whole group. This activity can help to the organizational development
of the organization because it will enable them to review different time wasters
and encourage them to actively brainstorm different strategies to apply.

Organizational development as an application of Psychology to the industry is of

Whether one is already employed or plans to begin a career after college,

organizational development is very important in understanding of the world of work
and organizations. Organizational development as an application of Psychology plays
a very essential role in the industry because it develops one's sense of leadership
and responsiblity to be able to work efficiently and effectively as a worker or an
employee.

The activity is a simple card game wherein cards will be arranged in a particular
order in the fastest possible time. The main learning point from this activity is
to make the members practice and experience the importance of planning and
delegating/dividing work among members to properly manage their time and achieve
the required task in the shortest time possible.
