Development Journey of Pakistan from 1947 to 2022; Lesson Learnt viz-a-viz Other Countries

A dying person on his death bed was repeatedly pronouncing two words ‘ALLAH’ and ‘PAKISTAN’.
His affectionate sister was sitting beside him, crossed fingers, her tears were rolling down her cheeks. He
was the Quaid-i-Azam or The Father of Nation. Pakistan blissed with dynamic leader who struggled hard to
get a separate homeland for the Muslims of Subcontinent. But unfortunately, his early death left a vacuum of
power in Pakistani politics. Moreover, Liaqat Ali Khan, the first Prime Minister of Pakistan, got killed in the
Rawalpindi. The bereaved nation of Pakistan fell into the hands of power-hungry politicians and bureaucrats.
The country which came into being for the social, political, economic and religious rights of Muslims turned
to quagmire at the hands of politicians. This situation hindered the development journey of Pakistan. Delay
in constitution making was another severe issue which caused problems for Pakistan.
