STUDENT

PROFESSIONALS For most people, performing professionally entails carrying

out tasks and conducting oneself in a way that makes

others perceive them as knowledgeable, dependable, and

respectful. They are the ones who have chosen to pursue or

obtained a vocation. They are unaware, however, that

professionals are a credit to both themselves and to others.

As a student, professionals are very important to me

because they motivate me to achieve great things and to be

the greatest version of ourselves in order to realize our

aspirations.

LEADERSHIP As a student, I value leadership much since it teaches us

how to create strong bonds within teams, establish

identities, and complete work efficiently. Additionally, it

offers a chance to develop and demonstrate good

interpersonal and communication skills.

BAR TOP-NOTCHERS Bar topnotchers are the candidates who scored the best on
the bar exam that year. Even though studying can be

difficult, these people managed to achieve the greatest bar

exam scores. As a result, this is really important to me,

especially as a nursing student because it inspires me to

work even more as well as to dream big. If they can do it, so

can I.

COMPASSION The virtue of compassion aids in our ability to comprehend

both ourselves and others. Furthermore, the more we

comprehend other people, the more we will wish to lessen

their suffering. It is crucial for students to possess this kind

of quality, particularly in college. Since we never know what

another person is going through, we should constantly be

kind to one another and choose to be helpful. Doing so can

boost academic performance as well as one's health,

happiness, and relationships.

GOOD ROLE MODEL A role model is someone who is admirable. As students, we

may quickly decide who to look up to and who not, which

has a significant impact. The highest standards are held for

both the role model and their own performance. Because

they are an inspiration to others and respect other people's

time, effort, and boundaries, they serve as an excellent

source of encouragement for us students.

As a student, adhering to and upholding OLFU's mission, vision, and

core values will greatly assist me in realizing my aspirations because
OLFU's main objective is to develop its students' global competitiveness.
Knowing its core principles enabled me to practice—or even manifest—
being an A.C.H.I.E.V.E.R. by placing emphasis on education and giving
my all in class. Education teaches us the worth of putting in the effort
while also fostering our development. Knowing them, in my opinion, is
just the first step toward living an authentic life. As a result, as I
implement them daily, they have become a crucial part of my happiness,
modest success, and demanding yet fun life as a nursing student.

Another instance I was able to put my CORE values into practice was
when I was open to trying something new. I do this because I think it
makes it easier for me to adjust to change and drives me to grow as a
person.

Furthermore, I can honestly say that studying is extremely difficult, but I

also think that if you love what you're doing, you can overcome it. Life as
a nursing student got easier for me because I always enjoy to organize,
plan, and make responsible choices. This is because it gives me a sense
of purpose and helps me develop resilience in the face of hardship on
both a personal and social level.
