SUBJECT: Safety Recommendations in Relation to Department’s Outdoor Video Shoot

Participants per batch:


 For large number of participants (n > 10 heads), video shoot must be done by batch
- Maximum of 10 participants per batch of shooting
- Video editing is recommended to merge the group if needed.
 Maximum of 15 heads including videographers and Marketing staff to assist (if there’s any)

 Ensure the venue is disinfected prior to video shooting. Coordinate with Housekeeping Team for disinfection
process if necessary.

 The venue must be controlled for non-entry of non-participants. Cordoning the area is required mainly to
avoid passersby (eg. customers, staff, etc) from getting near the participants or exposing the participants
and to avoid them from getting captured in the video as well, thus, avoiding re-take (and risk of long
exposures without mask). Coordinate with Security Team for assistance.

 Physical distancing of at least 2 meters radius shall be maintained at all times. Wearing of face shield and
face mask are required even with compliance to physical distancing.

 As to the method of video shoot, the participants can remove face mask while retaining the face shield when
the video shoot starts. This will take a few minutes to perform. The participant shall avoid talking and getting
near each other during the video shooting process until the face mask is worn back. 
Note: Video taking without both mask and shield is not allowed even with physical distancing.

 Videographers and assistants assigned for video shoot shall wear face mask and face shield at all times.

 The participants shall wear face shield and face mask immediately /right after his/her part is taken (prior to
moving around).

 The participant shall prepare oneself ahead prior to coming to the venue to avoid temptation of removing the
shield and mask while waiting for his/her turn.

 Eating or taking snacks in the venue is not allowed. 

 Videographers shall retain their distance from the participants at all times during shooting especially that the
participants are no longer wearing the mask.

 Choreographing the position shall be done only while the mask and full face shield are worn.  Once the
mask is removed, the videographers shall no longer be allowed to come close to the participants.

 Waiting area of those waiting for their turn shall be at the opposite end and waiting participants shall
maintain physical distancing of at least 2 meters radius.

 Please also secure electrical cords and wirings from the setup to eliminate tripping hazards.

 The protocols/measures given are applicable only to the venue communicated to our team. Changes in
venue shall be assessed again and may require additional measures especially for indoors/enclosed/small
areas.

To check compliance, a random inspection will be conducted. Any violation shall suspend the activity and will reflect
to the monthly DTI-DOLE Health Protocol compliance audit.
