poached egg with a pinch of salt and
pepper and some good olive oil.

Kiwi favourite. New Zealand lamb is held
in high esteem throughout the world and
is one of the country’s top export meats.
Best enjoyed flavoured with rosemary

Anzac Biscuits
Anzac Biscuits are an Aussie classic long
associated with the Australian and New
Zealand Army Corps established in
World War I. They are sweet biscuits
made of rolled oats, flour, sugar, butter,
golden syrup, baking soda, boiling water,
and desiccated coconut.

A traditional earth oven style of cooking.
Now saved mainly for special occasions,
foods cooked in a hangi include chicken,
pork and mutton, as well as various
vegetables.

great source of vitamin B and is adored
by many Australians. Other variations
include: vegemite on toast with cheese

New Zealand is the home for queen
scallops which are known to have an
intrinsic sweet taste. A popular way to
prepare them are by sauteing or baking
them in a butter sauce. Other
preparations include the accompaniment
of garlic and lemon.

A meringue-based dessert highly popular
among Australians, due to its sweetness.
Variations are made in terms of the size
and combinations of fruit fillings that are
added.

Grilled Koura (Crayfish Tail)
Koura is a type of crayfish only found in
the waters of New Zealand. It is typically
served together with large prawns in a
dish. Commonly garnished with lemon,
garlic, coconut oil, and other spices to
eliminate the fish odour.
