Assessment Instruction:

As a group, select a project site for your beach resort and nature park development. As stated in the general
design project, the basic site criteria are:

• Site should be in the Philippines.


• Selected site should have a coastline fronting a natural body of water.
• Site should have an area of not less than 15 hectares.
• Site should have topographic suggestion of natural vegetation.
• Consider site accessibility.
Students are encouraged to use online maps (ex. Google Earth) or other LIDAR resources in selecting their
proposed site.
1. Compute for the following development controls for the given project site in your major plate.

• Total Lot Area (5 points)


• Lot Type (5 points)
• Minimum Setbacks Required in the Lot (5 points)
• Building Occupancy (5 points)
• Site Zoning Classification (5 points)

• Recreations and Entertainment: Swimming Pool, Souvenir Shops, Restaurant, Sports Facilities, etc.
• Site Services: Garbage Collection, Security Offices, and other necessary site services
• Site Utilities: Transformer Voltage Regulator, Sewage Treatment Plant, Water Supply Pump Stations,
