• Electronica Mechatronics ( I) Pvt. Ltd. , known in Indian Machine Tool Market

as EMS, was established in 1986 in Pune, India.
• The company is engaged in designing and manufacturing encoders for
precise position and motion control and Metrology equipments. What started
four decades ago as an offshoot of Machine Tool Manufacturing , is now
a world class company offering solutions globally in precision measurement.
• Having Customer focus and teamwork as core values, EMS has innovated
and continually improved their products to offer an optimal solutions to
changing markets.
• Today, we are an ISO 9001:2015 company with state of the art factory having
integral facilities for everything from design to delivery under one roof.

EMS History
• All over India sales and Service network was developed to
cater to customers
• 1990 – Developed Magnetic encoder system with technical
know how from Germany
• Recognized as one of few companies in world that
indigenously manufacture magnetic tape
• 1999 – diversified into Metrology products with fist 100%

• 2013 – added one more floor for packaging and dispatch to

• 1986 - Got manufacturing license from RSF –
Austria
• 1986 - collaborated with Italian company for
making long length optical encoders with steel
tape for high precision
• Was the only company in India manufacturing

• 2000 – Launched DRO for metrology 2003 – added one more • 2020 – launched two more gauges from railway
